I'm not one to post reviews much, but this church deserves it. They're a recent church plant with a heart for missions both locally and internationally. They understand what's most important: Jesus, and it shows in every service they have. As soon as I walked in the doors, I immediately felt welcomed and knew this was the church I was going to attend. I'm now a member and have enjoyed every minute of it. I also love their heart for college students. They partnered with an organization called Salt Company which not only teaches Gospel-centered messages to students, but also encourages them to be a part of the church itself. There are tons of student ministries out there, but not many whose desire is to plug you into a multi-generational church so you are equipped to be a Christian out in the "real world". Don't believe me? Come check it out for yourself!

This was the second church I tried in Fort Collins when I moved here and I haven’t thought of leaving since I started coming! Everyone is super welcoming and I’ve found a community here faster than any other church I’ve been to. There’s a GroupMe where everyone shares about volleyball games, hiking plans, cliff jumping, board game nights and more events that you can join in on and it’s amazing! The pastors are also incredibly caring and I can tell really care about you and the church. 10/10 recommend!

Citylight church has been the biggest blessing to our family! This church has overcome many obstacles to be here and you can see and feel God’s favor on this place. There’s people of all ages and walks of life and there are lots of Citygroups for mid-week connection almost every night of the week. When you come to Citylight you’ll feel loved, welcomed, and gain a spiritual family.

I am so very thankful for the Lord’s tug on my heart to join the Core Team of Citylight Church Fort Collins. No looking back! God is on the move in this church body. I am so blessed to cal Citylight home. The love of the Lord radiates from His people. The Word, His truth, is taught weekly on Sundays and throughout the week in City Groups. I continue to stand in awe of all He is doing in and through His people!

City light is a prime example of what Christ wants the church to be. Everyone is so loving and welcoming, and it truly is a community to belong to! We consider ourselves so lucky that we found this great church.

Not a fan of posting negativity about churches, but after reading some of their own volunteers writing positive reviews, I feel it is important to present a more balanced picture from my personal experience. Been there several times, and I noticed that this place is very event oriented, has very little diversity, and more importantly they try to make you feel welcome, but only on a very superficial level. My biggest issue is that they don't follow through. I hear things like, "Let me buy you a lunch", "We will reach out to you", and all the things that you can imagine you'd hear to have you come back, but not been followed up with even though I signed up at their table.

Not saying this is a bad community, but they aren't all that they claim to be. Better to keep expectations realistic than to promise the world and not deliver.
