Some things you get a deal on. Everything is donated. A lit clothes are priced extravagantly for used items.

Some of it can be a bit pricey but some stuff is almost like new. I saw more than a few shirts and pants with the tag still on them. If you're willing to look and go in more than once you can find some really good stuff. I love their book section, but they need more men's shoes and watches.

I would like to share a recent experience I had at the City Thrift on Wilma Rudolph. I had made purchases at a prior time and had a couple items that didn't fit. My husband and I went back in February 17th and I found a couple items that I took to the regester and they gave me credit for the items I returned which left me owing a couple bucks. In the mean time..my husband had joined me at the register with a couple items he wanted so when the gal, who initially told me she was new, finished my sale...I had her check my husband out.. The items never came out of the bag...she just found the tags and rang them up. She then told me the amount owed was $38 plus. I thought to myself at that point...what did he buy that cost that much. Over the weekend I looked at his purchases and it was 2 items...a Fleece and a shirt that came to about $11 or so. I immediately felt and still feel that that person padded my bill for an additional $25 plus to come up with the $38. I took the stuff back this past week and turns out the gal that checked me out apparently is the manager... evidently. they don't wear a tag or anything to indicate that. They ended up taking my information and told me she would review the tapes/cameras whatever. Well, today I got a call from her, "the manager" stating they have no proof of taking that money and I need to take it up with my bank, which happens to be a federal credit union I've banked with for over 50 years. My mistake in this whole situation was not getting a receipt for that transaction....because obviously their records don't show they charged me the $38. There's a term for that...it's call skimming! So please be careful and always get a receipt. Just because the person claims to be a manager doesn't mean they can be trusted.

If you’re looking for an actual thrift/bargain store, SKIP this one. This place has lost its mind! I am an avid thrifter/reseller & would go in here about once a week. I don’t even bother anymore because they jack the prices up so much. It seems like they are greedy or trying to keep resellers away. It worked for me. I don’t think I’ll ever go back here because it just irritates me too much. $30 for beat up Nike sneakers, $16.99 for a Kim Roger’s dress, $27.99 for Zara jeans, $39.99 for a Tommy Hilfiger puffer jacket. Not even worth it on 50% off sale days. No wonder the racks are jam packed. I don’t know how they stay in business. The owner/managers need a reality check. My real question, who are the people paying these prices when you could go to a retail shop and pay around the same price? I will stick with Goodwill, even though they can get a little pricey on occasion.

Y'all pay attention, the tags they have on sale for the day are no where to be found on the racks!!! I just went through a whole isle to look for the 1/2 off, there was not one! This thrift store is way too expensive for their DONATED clothes, i seen a pair of nike sneakers ,that looked liked someone walked to canada and back in em and they wanted 19.99 for them. SAY WHAT!!! Diabolical.

My boyfriend and I have been here a couple of times. The first time went pretty well, and we were able to get multiple things at a reasonable price, despite some of the clothes being a little too pricey for a thrift store. However, the second time was recently, and it made me do a double take on going back. We went in to return a sweater with the price tag still on it, well, exchange since they only offer an exchange policy (except for footwear) according to the cashier from our previous visit. We were met with a kind lady working the cash register, and she told us that we needed a receipt. We knew we didn’t have the receipt, so I brushed it off as no big deal, and I was going to use the restroom real quick then we were going to leave. The lady from the cash register led me to the bathroom and offered to call the manager to see if they could do something about it. I told her that it was no big deal, but she pretty much insisted, so I told her I appreciate it and went into the bathroom to do my business lol. When I came out of the restroom, my boyfriend was looking at clothes, so I told him to come to the counter real quick since she called the manager to see if they could do anything. Well, when we went up there, the manager was there, and she told us that we need a receipt (which we were already aware of). We told her that we didn’t have the receipt, and my boyfriend told her about how the previous cashier told us about the exchange policy, and he started looking through his credit card transactions to see if he could find it. At this point, I didn’t even want to bother with it anymore, given this woman had the biggest attitude and was standing there the whole time with her arms crossed staring at us rudely. I don’t think she had an attitude because of the whole receipt thing because I am understanding and aware that some places cannot take things back without one, and that’s totally fine, but it’s the manner in which we were greeted by her and her demeanor that really set me off. I finally spoke up and said that it really isn’t that big of a deal, and I can just give the sweater to someone or donate it. The manager said, “K. Have a good one.,” implying that we should leave instead of even try to shop around for other things. The whole situation just felt confrontational and rude, and I’m not sure that I’ll be back.

This "thrift store" is not even worth the hassle of traffic you have to fight getting out, WAY ,WAY, overpriced donated items, I was looking through the sweaters ,they wanted 7.99 for a beige name brand sweater that had big orange stains on the front of it. They have "tag" "sales" but if you really pay attention,you will barely find any of the tag sales. Who's buying these items? don't even waste your time.

This store has some great finds! The only 2 flaws are their " no tag policy " has them leaving a lot of unhappy customers hanging. When you find your treasure in the store you expect to leave with it. Second is there is no dressing room, which is not a big deal.
