Make sure you're in uniform, God forbid you just need a signature you still have to be in uniform. I also went in at 1459. Dude said I'd have to come back the next morning cause they take the last person at 1500 (at this time it's was 1505) I said I was here a minute before, still said he wasn't gonna look at the single paper they had to look at just to see I turned some gear into my unit that the unit now takes just because it was a couple minutes after. SOME of the employees are clearly miserable there. Good luck to anybody having to clear this CIF

customer service should have a designated person answering phone calls. when a phone rings, a customer service representative will wait until done with the in person clients. Waiting on hold will usually last 15 minutes. The process of turning in jslist items is not explained at SRP so Soldiers will likely need to make multiple trips between their unit and CIF to be successful. Appointments are nearly a month out. A soldier will likely need to adjust their final out date if uninformed as I was. some items issued to soldiers can be deemed fake and not be accepted even if recieved from the facility.

the building was clean though.

Stop giving lazy ass civilians more reasons to feel empowered. I shouldn’t have to drive 45 minutes to base on a DONSA just to get told to reschedule because I’m not in uniform. I’m ETSing in a month, have my orders already, and 1 of 5 people turning in gear this morning. Also, they get pretty offended when you tell them that’s the dumbest rule lol.

The people giving good reviews are either fake or Division Officers. I went in 3 times. I watched them accept stuff from me then not remove it from my clothing record. They added stuff that I never had. They wouldn't accept my IOTVs until I fully assembled them then had the gall to tell me I was missing a piece after I turned it in. I brought some stuff I thought I needed to turn in, but when I was informed I didn't the clerk said "It's army property but it's not on your record so I'm just going to add it". When you turn in they demand you throw stuff at them as fast as possible then kick you out if you're going to slow for their liking. I'm not surprised soldiers are "missing" stuff; it wasn't counted when they placed it on the counter. If they cared about being accurate with their job then they would go line by line, and accept the gear as it was presented. Everyone who works here needs to be fired, and the managers need to be prosecuted for fraud.

I’m so glad they have a phone number and email for Soldiers to reach out with questions. It would be amazing if ANYONE would answer either of those. Worst DOD civilians I’ve seen in 20 years.

Very helpful and timely with appointment. Staff are very fair with understanding “heavily used” vs dirty TA-50.

I kept up with my clothing record and I made sure I had everything on the list before I even set foot inside (That's every soldier's responsibility). I happened to be missing an item, the guy behind the counter was really cool about it. He pulled up an extra someone else left behind and saved me a few dollars. If you have a bad experience, it's because YOU DIDN'T PREPARE.

Never answering their phone which is very pointless. I went and in and staff had very snobby behavior which was unnecessary and unprofessional given the fact I asked one simple question.
