The La Verne Church of the Brethren is an historic peace church with deep roots in social justice and nonviolence. A "progressive Church with a pipe organ," it has a deep and rich history and a beautifully vibrant inclusive spirit; everyone is welcome. The church choir does an amazing job with a wide variety of musical styles. Of course it helps that the choir director has her Doctorate in Musical Arts and the music coordinator is a world-renowned composer and arranger. Both of them sing professionally, as well. Clearly music is very important to this congregation! But it is only one part of many amazing parts of this incredible church.

Wife & I were the only ones with a Bible! I didn’t hear but two verses of scripture! I’ll try a church that gives the message verse by verse out of the Bible. Lots of nice people there though!

Beautiful church, well maintained, located on downtown LA Verne on Second Street.
I was there for a Bonita High vocal performance.great sound.

The most accepting, open-minded church I've ever attended. Peace, love, and social justice are at the core of this church's values, and the sermons tend to focus more on these topics than sin. Beyond LGBT friendly to true acceptance and celebration of relationships. It is an older congregation but they are far from conservative. This church partners regularly with local Jewish and Muslim communities, and recognizes that we can all learn from each other and serve our community better when we work together.
