Great, friendly place. Lots of little kids, who sometimes make noise or wander up the aisles. Wonderful priest, provocative sermons. Broad Church. Good music. Lots of classes and forums. Centering Prayer on Wednesday evenings. Very community-oriented. Runs a Warming Shelter during the winter, a Food Pantry on Tuesdays, and does a huge Thanksgiving Dinner each year for the community, serving about a thousand meals.

I attend this church (and sing in their choir) because the members are such a caring community. We host a weekly food bank, an ovenight warming shelter overnight colder months, and recently had showers built so we can offer showers to the homeless. On Thanksgiving Day, members delivered meals to over 300 people

You don't have to be a member to join us for services -- come as you are. Website has more information: christchurchalameda.org
