I joined Cherry Creek Toastmasters 20+ years ago. My reason (I thought) was to improve my speaking skills, which I did. What I didn't realize was I would get more than improved speaking skills. A couple of months ago I was looking for a toastmasters group to help improve my public speaking. I was blown away by the feeling of community, support for everyone, the caliber of speakers, the amazing and supportive feedback given to the speakers, and the very organized manner in the way the meetings are run.
