A loving family hosts spirituality. Definitely worth learning from.

Born into the faith in the family of one of the original founders of the Modesto Synagogue, attended and eventually raised my children as well there, however it became impossible to get into the services after the change in Rabbis and the Board of Directors acted like they owned the congregation. It was not the synagogue that my Great Grandfather created and had became so blasphemous that I begged, pleaded and finally walked away from it. I was without faith or even spirituality for over 3 years and then BH , I got word that Chabad was sending a Rabbi and family here in the form of a Chabad House!
Meeting Rabbi Mendy and his wife Chaya changed my life, actually saved my life.
My life with Chabad of Modesto has taught me more about my faith than anything else. I’m feeling Jewish now like I never have before. Amazing to meet genuine and beautiful real people who live and love Judaism in the purest form and teach us how to live and love being Jewish too! If you have not experienced Chabad, you are not reaching your potential to become your best Jewish self. I am proud to be a Chabadnick and I will NEVER be a Congregant again! Baruch HaShem, my prayers were answered when Modesto received our own Chabad and Rabbi Mendy and Chaya Golomb.
