The store is a second hand store or donations for sale location. This is somewhat like a thrift store or Salvation Army. The individuals here do a lot with what they have. They do a lot for the community they try hard they work hard and are always pleasant. The selection there sometimes is good sometimes it's not so great as it depends on what's been donated prior to your visit so I recommend that you not only donate here but encourage others in the community to do so. I do have to say that there are some good items there and sometimes they're brand new in the box which is amazing. I have bought things from clothes to ceiling fans the other day I noticed that they actually had flat screen TV mounts that were still in the box and they were brand new in the box still and very reasonably priced also. Having this store in the area is definitely a needed resource for the community. Good luck guys hope you're here for another 20 years!

Here is an amendment to the review. I strongly suggest that you ask polity to check the contents of any item that is supposed to come in kit form or an item that has several components that are absolutely necessary for it to work prior to your purchase as the ceiling fan I purchased was missing a couple of VERY key components like the bracket that hold the entire fan on the ceiling. it also was missing the globe that should cover the light fixture itself.

I truly do not blame the staff here as they would never be able to go through ever item that is donated to the store and ensure that the contents are in fact all there! It would be helpful though if people who donate would / could write on the box the items that are missing so the person purchasing it would know what they will need to do in order to either assemble or install whatever they purchase. Again this is not the staffs issue and I still stand by my review with this amendment...

Its a pretty unique thrift store, the prices are inexpensive and they have really nice kitchenry, plates, and tea sets! The clothing there is too, although its not the biggest shop, its still a gem. Theres a changing room too. Though watch out for stains and ripped pieces.

They provide low cost but high quality refurbished clothing, toys, books, appliances and other items.

Maria takes complete advantage of the community. The point of social services is to help the community and make yourself of service to them not over charge them for basic help. She asks for "donations" that always change from day to day. Today it happened to be $40 dollars for printing an application. Yes $40 dollars. When I inquired about the donation she said it was for ink. The application was 10 pages at most. This is a joke. When I told her donations come from what can and wants to donate she got nasty. I left $25 and that's generous. Please do your research and find places willing provide basic services at no cost to you just because she's bilingual doesn't mean she's on your side.

I love give my gently used clothes and furnishings to this organization. They really know how to give back to the community. The people who work and volunteer here are amazing and should be commended for their willingness to serve. Please donate you money and clothes and furniture, etc.... here.
