Volunteer Experience:
I volunteered here for a sorting shift during NAWIC and found the whole evening to be easy and fun! The staff is incredibly well organized and energetic and the orientation was so smooth and comfortable, I knew exactly what was expected of me at all times.

Went here with 30 other colleagues. We sorted Food, Arranged boxes and cleaned trash. It was a 3 hour shift. The Food Bank lead volunteers were really helpful in giving instructions. Would definitely come here to volunteer again.

Great place to unload.. kinda tight on parking but vary nice people who work here and make you feel welcome and care about your hours of service as a trucker I’ll come back here any day may God bless every soul in the office and warehouse

I have been blown away by the impact a few hours of your time can make with respect to the incredible organization of Central Texas Food Bank. I have met so many lovely people that work and volunteer there and I highly recommend making the time to volunteer here. You will be helping SO many others and they make it fun while you’re there!

I have been volunteering and donating here for decades. It's a fantastic organization to get involved with to help your fellow Central Texans in need. My father recently passed away and this was the place we loved volunteering together the most. In his name I started a Virtual Food Drive and donated almost 1,000 lbs worth of non perishable food, and I will continue the tradition in his honor, especially during the holidays!
