From someone that went to this Children's home I highly recommend this place over others. When I was there Mr. Lee was in charge and my house parents were the best. Some reviews on here say they FORCE religion on but I wouldn't call it force. Yes, every Sunday we had to go to church but it was your choice to believe in the religion or not. I am not a religious person but I had an amazing time, several churches had party's/events that would give the children new clothes, shoes, even gaming systems. We traveled all over Texas and even went to the Dallas stadium and 6 flags! The reason I recommend this over other is because other childrens homes have several homes not just two like this home. Other childrens homes won't be able to do as much as this home can, I am grateful to have gone to this home over others. Only thing I cant vouch for is the new house parents and the new manager, I believe your overall experience there depends on your house parents and I was lucky to have some loving and caring house parents.

I was placed in this home when I was about 4/5 years old. I lived there many years and have fond memories. I was well treated and never felt unloved. I thank God that I ended up here for a very crucial part of my life verses in other group home or passed from foster home to foster home. No, I did not go back to my biological family but to a foster home after a few years, but that was for the best. I am just so grateful that I have the memories I do from this home.

They claim family reunification is the goal. This is false. They have a religious agenda that eventually acuses the parent of all kinds of falsehoods. When you present then with documentation that proves otherwise, the parent is completely removed from the child's life. When I last spoke with the director, he was supposed to set up a face to face family therapy session to "settle this once and for all" and then I never heard from anyone again. No calls were ever returned. This is the worst possible place you could a child when the goal is to reuinify them with the family, in my personal experience.

A beautiful place and an amazing home for children in desperate need of love and care. All children who go here will feel the full support of all staff and other fellow children. Amazing place!

Wish I could rate this place a 0. Horrible rules for the children. Most of them are unhappy where they are. Religion is forced on them and as i mentioned before the rules are outrageous and no child should be subject to them.
