Visited Byrne Hall, the current headquarters of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. (They will relocate in the next year or two when their new building is complete.)

The grounds are nicely maintained and the setting is a peaceful one, with dog walkers utilizing the grassy lawn in the center of the circle drive.

A semiprivate area which is the center for many of the offices for the Catholic Diocese if Little Rock. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra also has its offices here. Residents from the Heights neighborhood frequently come to visit to walk around the loop. This is also a nice area for helping beginners learn how to ride a bike with gentle slopes and a paved loop. Finally, this area has some nice areas for photography portraits, both wooded backdrops and interesting architecture.

At a time of great difficulty for Catholics, I am grateful to be in the diocese of Little Rock. Our diocese is so well led and cared for that while the wider Church is rocked violently by scandals, our diocese has been for a long time kept in good order by the wisdom, charity, and strength of our shepherd and other leaders he has chosen. For this, I and my family are eternally grateful. I suspect that it is difficult for the lay faithful to imagine the challenges faced by our Bishop and those who assist him. By nature of an office that was instituted by Christ himself, our shepherds deserve our respect, prayers, and obedience. By nature of their applying themselves so faithfully to the care of souls, they deserve our affection, love, and appreciation. May God bless our diocese and may God bless His Church which He will never abandon.

Father Erik, my previous priest at Our Lady of the Holy Souls in Little Rock (now works in the Faith Formation office within the diocese), is great as well as all of the other diocesan officials/staff/priests. Father Erik always made time for meetings during my family's crisis period even though his schedule was extremely busy at the time. Other priests I have met also seem to have the same helping spirit, so I would recommend the diocese to anyone and believe that there is a parish that would be a great fit for you if you move to this area or visit.
