I like the way the place is today more so than 2 years ago. There's some new faces there will always be that but I like the way that it's organized now. You can be there now all day long until you are I guess considered a full-time resident you do have to carry your belongings with you until you are that full-time resident and believe your belongings in your sleep area you're living area I guess you would call it. if you have any questions I suggest calling straight through to Catholic Charities or ask Google.

This is a revised review I was a client I guess you would say because it's not a guest I'll tell you what for 9 months maybe a little longer. It's a circus that really needs some mental health help and I'm talking about the people that run the place. There is Major manipulation going on major bullion major favoritism different rules for different people some no rules at all staff doesn't follow the rules they have their favorites most of the staff are stealing from the donations having affairs with other staff members while they're supposed to be working staff members doing drugs and drinking along with clients/ guests that live there. Have total double standards about everything it depends on who you are and what you have that they want or what kind of a threat you may be to them. A good healthy investigation by a team of people maybe people that invest there donate their time and their money because staff members do their best to fool the people. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time. They write you up they treat you like you're going in and out of jail they strip search your belonging for no reason they changed their rules the times that everything they haven't served a decent meal there and I don't know how long they haven't sai the community lunch in a few years some people that donate money to this organization I'm none the wiser of the real going on there. I thought a shelters if someone is freezing cold in the middle of the night they're coming in if there's nowhere to lay down there's a place to sit and that's out of the freezing winter they need to get rid of the majority of the administration that run the place there's a few exceptions. And that they should do a full turnover completely on the staff peons that take care of everybody there if that's what you want to call it. A lot of things happened to a lot of people and some almost every day there and they have cameras inside and out when the people who had these issues going on no one would address these issues even when it was in their parking lot they never looked at the cameras nothing there's proof behind every word that is said. It's a coven of witches and I'm not kidding a year ago it was like there was a convention for them there. And half the staff are involved. The report is being made it's in the process rough draft when completed will be sent directly to the Catholic Archdiocese in Denver. I think people within the city that run the city should really check into these things. They have contracts with the city for the fire and rescue to come for any incident there whatsoever which was the police department's job prior to that the city and Catholic Charities forward slash Samaritan House Shelter have a couple contracts in regards to where the city money is spent( there are people that on a daily will call that ambulance 3 4 5 times for a headache for this for that and most of their crap is all lied about and staff is okay with that,
A form of getting their way getting attention needed at the taxpayers expense but this is done repetitively sometimes by the same person over and over and over. They need to be evaluated and getting the help that is needed for them not taking the ambulance several times a per day. There's just a whole lot of dirt going on and it's all sugar coated by other staff members and other people which are the favorites people that have been living there for over 2 years some five or six years they've been living there in the Overflow in the permanent housi

My experience- The shelter is Very Challenging and Negative Environment. Some of the staff are rude, dismissive on issues, unsympathetic, dishonest and they don't even follow their own rules. Small portions of food. You have to stay out from 8:30am to 4pm. You're not allowed to share your (religious beliefs)Violation of your first Amendment rights. But you are allowed to come in the shelter drunk or high as long as you don't cause a disturbance. I don't feel it's safe. Serve the God of the bible (Jesus Christ) "Hope"

I wouldn't have stayed there if I had actually Had a choice. Some of the staff was rude, and they Claim to not single people out because of their sexual orientation but there was a trans female staying there and she was treated Terribly by Miss Francis (women's shelter director) and quite a few of the women staying there. I would Never recommend this shelter

They have went outta there way to create a dhs case off of aggressive manipulation, and committed child endangerment due to a circumstantial offense, then rudely went outta there way to not allow belongings after agreeing too the night before this morning threatening police when they have no right. We will make a report and file a lawsuit...

Cont.. seems like they stalk as well. Black navigator that was in parking lot before looks to invade my privacy with pictures and some phones communication as well. Fear not you we got as well invading privacy

I was there with my 4 kiddos, they have rules but basic rules you will want to do in your house. They helped me and helped me get into Sherwood housing and we got a place now it’s because of the shelter staff and Brittany who was my casemanager and my intake casemanager who helped at catholic with meetings! Also the kitchen staff who feed us a meal everyday thank you to all of you
