We as catholics, know that we have to help our neighbors, and Catholic Charities does that and then some.
Special thanks to the legal services they offer to all latino people, helping them with assistance in immigration processes.
God bless everyone at Catholic Charities.

I went asking for help with my son citizenship, because it’s really expensive and I don’t have the money to pay for it right now. They came with an excuse. And I overheard a person saying “they said people told them to come here, but they just want free service”, - It’s a “Catholic Charity” people will go there for services they can’t pay.

I’m Dominican, I see they help a lot Mexican.
They have a fake post saying culture, race, etc do not matter. I think it matters.

My son is 4 Years Old - They said he has to wait until he is 18 to apply for citizenship, that’s the rule-
What a coincidence that I heard them saying they will denied service to me because I wanted it for free.

I’ve been homeless for two plus years . I’ve completed the coordinated entry paperwork twice and I have yet to receive a any type of support from catholic charities. I sleep in my car which means I change locations a lot. I do however have the same phone number I’ve had for 15 years. Today I am feeling sick and would love the reprieve of a hotel room to help me get over being sick but there is no 24 hour phone number. Why don’t I seem to get the same level of services as those that camp in tents ? I don’t want to be homeless. Can anyone actually help? Where did all the bathrooms go? Why are all the park bathrooms locked 24 hrs a day where did all the garbage cans go. How does any society expect to improve homelessness when all roads to reintegration are blocked by some city or county or law enforcement policy. Help,
Ben Peterson

I've been homeless for about 5 months I applied for Catholic Charities Family Support Center I have a daughter that is 9 in a husband we both work we just happened to be homeless because of unforeseen circumstances. I explained to the woman that we've been living out of a motel and she said that's considered a place to live anyone Couchsurfing with family and friends is considered a place to live having a car in sleeping in the car with your child is considered a place to live which doesn't make us a priority. I have never been so heartbroken in my life I'm at a point where I don't know what to do and these places say they help but they really don't it's just sad. Update : its been 9 months now in still waiting
