Incredibly friendly staff, always helpful. If you need to go to a food bank, this is one of the best. Nothing expired or gross. They even provide fresh veggies from the community garden in the summer. They're limited so you can only go once a month but so worth it. Other food banks should use this one as an example of the quality that should be allowed to low income people (which is the best).

Disappointed in their inability to assist non-covid, single income households. I am a masters-level social worker interning with covid populations in Healthcare and have worked in housing voucher and case management for over 5 years in Boulder County and seems like I don't fit their "population" for assistance even though this time around, I find myself in need for partial housing assistance. Not surprised because families and covid-impacted individuals should be priority but it's still a shame they don't think I have the ability to be "self-sufficient" after their assistance as quoted by the individual who called me back. Even though my income and budget CLEARLY show that I would be more than self-sufficient after this hurdle. If you are single or a student, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere in Weld County for assistance. I also called them back in October because I was homeless for a week waiting for my current apartment to be ready and they couldn't assist me at that point either. I helped countless single individuals and students while serving at Emergency Family Assistance and not once did we turn them away if they showed they would be able to continue paying after our help, whatever that source of income came from, just for some perspective.

I was told of this place from an acquaintance. I was so humbled when I was gifted so many food items, along with a Safeway card. God bless these kind women who help those in need.
