If you want a Christian rock concert, followed by feel good stories and some sentences out of the bible, with a random story, than this is not the church for you.
If you crave the Word, if you want to learn about Jesus, the land in which His disciples went and taught, this is the place.
This church feeds you meat not crumbs. Pastor Jeff Figgs is a good and humble teacher. You know a church is good when they tell you to open your bible and have bibles available for you to read along. A good church is when the pastor teaches and explains what is veing read/taught. Part of our salvation depends on a good understanding of the word of God and knowing who Jesus is. So come, listen , let your soul be fed. God Bless

No live service, I went to visit and check out the service. When I arrived there were ushers that opened the door for me but they didn’t say a word. No welcome, nothing. No one even said as much as a hello. Obviously, my presence was not wanted, will not go back despite living right across the street.

Line by line, verse by verse teaching through the whole Bible. Dedicated to giving the whole counsel of God. Sound Biblical teaching, great music without being over the top and small groups that truly care about their congregation.

Not very welcoming to kids who don't like to go to Sunday school or are too young and prefer parents. They ask that you sit outside of the auditorium and watch on TV. They won't even allow a diaper bag in. We left immediately. Kids are kids and anyone who is treated like your kids shouldn't be kids or need to be separated from everyone else, I'm here to tell you there are plenty of other loving churches to go to. Their reasoning for this is they are recording for the radio and I completely disagree with this being a good reason at all. Church is not a performance so stop treating it as such!

Extremely legalistic and uses ostracizing rhetoric to the point of encouraging teens to cut off relationships with peers who are not Christians. Especially the youth group pastor and staff. Be careful allowing your children to attend here. I would suggest Christ Community or even Generations for your kids, in particular.

I was at Calvary Chapel for “Griefshare” it is a wonderful support group for any loss you have experienced. The people who run the group are incredible! It is a 13 week program (1 2 hr session a week) that helps you work thru all the stages of grief. Each week we have a video seminar followed by group discussion. There is also a workbook that has so much great information and exercises to help you.
This has helped me incredibly and I have met some wonderful people there. I had never been to this church but it seems to be such a great place to be. It offers a beautiful Christian community. It looks like they have a great “coffee shop” type area for you to be able to sit and relax and be part of this wonderful community.

Amazing staff. Head pastor Jeff Figgs is an amazing wealth of knowledge. Greeters are welcoming but not overbearing. Worship is excellent and full of both good highs and lows as far as range of sound quality. Excellent messages and insightful points of view paired with credible sources. AWESOME! Our new home Church building.
