I don't believe that this company should be doing a sweepstakes that lets people from other states enter. I entered the sweepstakes everyday and of course I was so excited to see an email that I was a finalist but here is the problem, you only get a 1 week notice to be at the give away which starts that you have a 1-1000 chance of winning. I understand that this is good publicity for the home building company but it's just false hope for anyone that doesn't live in this state. With a one week notice it would cost you over $1000 to get there and hotel. Please don't get me wrong I believe that them giving away a beautiful home is very awesome. I don't know of any other home giveaways that do it like this but they do give you someone to contact once you are a finalist. I did email and the person was very nice, although I could tell that they don't expect you to come. I understood this once I was given the odds again. I just feel that this should just be available for people who live in Fargo. I have had the worst year of my life on top of having an illness with no cure and this is just false hope. I am sure if anyone out of state did go they must have the money to toss away. When doing a sweepstakes like this they should let you know that you really have no chance of winning. I was all excited for really no reason and I even told my daughter who lost her home 8 months ago. She was trying to tell me to go anyways because she is struggling right now with my granddaughters. I never write a review on anything but I just don't want others to spend their time filling out the form everyday for no reason. While the company does get this extra publicity remember that there are people who are having it so hard and maybe like me are trying anything to get back on their feet when you're not healthy enough to work anymore.
