I have visited dozens of nonprofits, over the past year, that state they help people...but actually do little or nothing. However, Broomfield FISH actually does help people. The FISH food bank is excellent and the employees, and volunteers, are helpful and kind....that is rare!

The lottery system here is a joke. It used to be first come first serve now it doesn’t matter you could be there an hour before someone else and they will be helped before you. Very disappointing for a single mother who can’t wait all day and always showed up early to get an early spot. They need to change this system because it isn’t fair at all. I used to feel like this was a great resource but things have changed drastically in the last year or so. Please find a new system because it doesn’t work for a lot of people.

Amazing staff. Good food. Welcoming environment. Bonus for getting to pick out your food! I came here, but had made a mistake and was definitely upset that I wouldn't be able to shop, even though it was definitely my fault for the mistake. The folks there were so kind and apologetic. They helped me out anyways and did so right away. I was so touched and appreciative 🙂

All this was made from food i got from the donation center! Wonderful salad with beets, garbanzo beans , avocado broccoli cheese radishes with ranch dressing and bread and butter for the meal stir fry over rice. Carrot cake for dessert!

Sometimes everyone needs a little help with getting the simple basics of food. If you live in Broomfield and need a little food to get you by, go to FISH. No judgement, just people wanting to help people get food. They have other to offer besides food but a simple meal can go a long way. Thank you, FISH.

If you are second in line early, doesn't matter they do a raffle and you get to go to the end of the line service is fine but there process needs to change we all ready come in and pick a number why do you need to have another form of control defeats the whole take a number thing there stuff they can offer and provide is 5*otherwise
