Recently Brookdale Oak Hollow hosted an Aloha party complete with an Elvis impersonator. Family and residents alike enjoyed the party replete with grass skirts and leis. The Chef prepared a banquet with carved watermelon baskets. Decorations were adorable, A special thank you to Clare and her assistant Morgan! It was wonderful. My husband, a resident there even stood in front of his wheelchair and we “danced.” Thank you for this wonderful event!

This is a wonderful place for your loved one with dementia. They have a great activity director, things are always going on. The chef makes great meals. And the staff really cares about my dad. They took extra care of him when he broke his leg after a fall. Our family is very grateful and pleased with Brookdale.

I placed my Mom here from another facility and I'm glad I did! Brookdale is a more 'homestyle' family atmosphere. The staff is trained & attuned to the eccentric nature of dementia. There is fish tank, aviary, several rooms for activities, TV room, piano. The residents can walk along the inner loop to their hearts content. The staff is responsive & friendly; cares about their residents and tries to engage them in activities. Good dining room & variety of food entries. You can visit any time. I highly recommend Brookdale Oak Hollow.

It’s a very nice homey environment for my father. He is very well taken care of and loves the staff.

Like most places, it’s not perfect but it is by far the best around locally.

Transitioning is very difficult when going into a facility or changing to this degree of care, after the two week transition period most kinks seem to work them selves out.

My father seems happy as do the other residents I interact with. Also, the staff appears happy which is important!!

A great choice for anyone looking for a place!!

My mother lived at Brookdale Oak Hollow for 4-1/2 years and we had overall a very positive experience. I found the staff and leadership to be caring and responsive. My mom has special needs (as do most of the residents) and the staff worked very well with me to take care of her. I was lucky that I got to visit with my mom several times a week and stay on top of her care so that any concern was addressed quickly. Whenever something was needed or there was a concern, the management and employees worked with me to correct any issue as soon as possible. Their Activities staff is top notch - keeping the residents entertained and engaged throughout the day and evening. The Nursing staff is very responsive to any concern and will contact the resident's doctors to help get treatment if needed. This was the third facility my mother was in over the last 12 years, so I have some basis for comparison. I have always felt that the resident's family and the facility's staff must work together for the resident's best interest. I find that this was easy to do at Brookdale Oak Hollow.

My mother was well loved during her time here until she passed. The caretakers and other staff were involved and attentive, and treated Mom with respect and dignity. Maintenance is handled promptly and the meals are pretty good. This was Mom’s third and last place she lived after she was no longer at home, and we were glad we moved her to Oak Hollow.
