Our daughter was at Bright Horizons from 5 months until she was almost 2 years old. The infant and toddler classes were both wonderful! We were a little worried about how she would adapt with starting daycare, but everyone at Bright Horizons was wonderful and made it a great transition! She was always happy, well cared for, and had amazing bonds with the teachers and her classmates. My wife and I feel like our child has gained so much from their experiences, and she always came home singing songs and talking about her friends and teachers. Alyssa and Karyn were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and we would highly recommend this center to anyone in the area!

Not sure why the negative reviews, but noticed they are old and some related to back up care vs full time care. My little one has been at Bright Horizons Columbus Circle since 5 months. Initially, kids inevitably get sick often - just be ready for it - it’s either now or Pre-K. But we found it worked for us because we didn’t have the space w remote working to have a nanny or bandwidth to be a one person HR.

The administration and teachers have been great. We’ve all seen that nanny in the park on her phone - you don’t have to worry about that here. Everything is structured, held to a high legal standard, monitored and the centre is clean. BH provided diverse stimulation (art, reading, different developmental activities, etc), structure and outdoor time weather permitting - we follow the same schedule at home. Every day you get a detailed journal of every diaper change, nap and meal / snack and tons of videos and pics. AM/PM snacks are provided. A lot of the staff have or are working on education degrees too. Have seen my little one develop intellectually and physically in leaps and bounds - his palette has also expanded being able to take advantage of the Little Green Gourmet meal delivery service, and eat w a group of little ones. He is always excited to go to school, and it’s so sweet to see him and his buddies excitedly run into each other at the playground. BH is now on the universal pre-K program, and an enrolled child can get priority for enrollment which is huge.

A big thanks to Ms Kim and Miriam for running the centre, Ms Christine, Tia, Kia and Stef for the toddler rooms and Ms Sam, Jasmine and Danelvi the infant rooms.

My daughter has been at the Columbus Circle Bright Horizons for 4 years and Karyn and her team have been nothing short of exceptional every day in providing a top notch educational and social experience. The curriculum and the implementation of the curriculum are excellent and have provided a platform where our daughter has made significant academic progress every month she has been there. I would highly recommend Karyn and the Columbus Circle Bright Horizons team to anyone looking for childcare.

Karyn and her team do a great job creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children at BHCC. It's been wonderful to see my son grow and thrive thanks to his wonderful teachers. I'm always amazed by all he has been learning and I love how excited he is about going to daycare each day.

My daughter has been at this center since early March in the infant classroom. We’ve really enjoyed our experience, the teachers and administrators are caring and everyone has been very helpful. Each day there are new fun activities for the kids and we’re always so excited to see the photo and video updates throughout the day!

This place is well located behind Time Warner center area, has ramps and buggy parking space. The double door is hard to manoeuvre.
If you know a person currently enrolled you get a discount on part of the registration/enrollment fee.
It seems to be open from 7am-18:30, which is longer than the bright Horizons nearby. The big downside I know several people have chosen against here is that most of the classrooms are in the basement and have NO natural sunlight. They do take kids on walks when they can but no sunlight in classrooms could be a deal breaker.

We have used this location for emergency backup care for 30+ sessions.
Also the level of service varies from Administration to teachers daily. When it's excellent they welcome you with printed name sheet, send you photos of your child and give you a daily update paper or email. On bad days I arrived and they were like we didn't know you were coming, and they don't give you any updates even if you ask, and noone can answer my questions like if child age or slept. This is why I'm mixed about how to rate this review.

I assume this depends on the quality of Administration and how stretched thin they are.
With the Administration changes hopefully the good stays and I can add stars. Hopefully they try hard even though the location is convenient and people will come.

The absolute best center. The director Mrs Karyn and her staff are absolutely amazing. The energy speaks for itself and the children are very happy because of it. I can’t compliment this center enough. The best ever.
