Visited the ER on 1/27/25.
Nobody bothered to actually take my height/weight during triage, which was odd. Not a big deal.
I was not given any fluids for the duration of my stay despite asking multiple times and expressing that I was severely dehydrated. I wasn’t able to ingest it orally but I had an IV placed and it would have been nice to actually get some fluids through that, at least.
Bedside manner was… weird. The entire time I was there, I just felt like the staff was irritated that I was in need of care. It felt like I was interrupting whatever else they had going on. They didn’t hesitate to let me know that I am just another chore for the day, and they had no concern for an issue that was pretty distressing to me.
Ultrasound tech told me everything looks fine and healthy—30 minutes later the doctor comes in and tells me something completely different.
I’ve never had the staff at a hospital treat me with such indifference before. I’m not asking anyone to roll out a red carpet for me or genuflect upon my arrival but some basic bedside manner and maybe at least pretending to be empathetic would be cool.

All in all, I wish I would have gone anywhere else.

Very laid back, yet amazingly efficient. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, calm and helpful. The team went above and beyond to ensure I knew exactly what was happening and what I needed to do. As someone who is not the most comfortable in hospitals, this was an easy, painless appointment.

The staff was VERY nice. They did a nose swab but couldn't tell me if I had a problem. I have been sneezing and have had a very runny nose for about 4 days at that time. I STILL have the same problems. I feel like something is wrong and am fearful I could pass something to my spouse who has severe medical diagnoses. I did share this with doctor. So I felt like I could not prevent possibly passing something to my spouse or others. I do feel that overall this is a good medical option but sort of felt they were "wasting their time" seeing me. They advised seeing my pcp however.

Dr Hand and the whole team are friendly, efficient, and kind. Dr Hand was thorough during my visit and allowed me time to discuss some issues that were on my mind. She is a great communicator and great listener. I have confidence in her to handle my medical needs

Went to PT at Boulder Cty Health in LaFayette for lymphatic massage. It was amazing and I could finally see my ankles instead of tree stumps! Suzanne was also was so helpful getting compression accessories thru Medicare. Thanks so much!

Had a bit of trouble initially getting my appointment confirmed and posted in the portal. Actual visit with Adriana Lorenzo was great. She had reviewed my file and was aware of the issues I have been facing. She was proactive to address an added concern and prescribed a medication on trial to help. Her treatment plan included orders for labs with followup in six weeks to see if adjusted medication produced the desired results. She described to me what the adverse effects of my increased dose might entail. She indicated she wanted me to message her the next week to let her know how I was getting on.

Top Notch facility and staff.
I had emergency procedure and was admitted to hospital after operation! The staff was so nice and attentive. I was made completely comfortable during my and unscheduled visit.
To top it off the food is not your typical hospital fare. It was great! Thank you to all those who make BCH such a wonderful place
