This place is terrible for memory care. They promise one thing and don’t deliver any of it. They have no activities for memory care patients, they are completely untrained in how to redirect Alzheimer’s patients and do not provide proper supervision. The staff changes too frequently for them to be trained to provide proper care. Unless you are willing to chemically sedate your loved one I would look somewhere else. I highly recommend going to spend time in the memory care here and in other facilities meant for memory care before placing someone you care about here.

Bluebird retirement community is the best thing that has happened to our family in years! Mom has been there for several weeks and she has been more active than I ever thought she could be. Bluebird understands that the later years are meant to be fun and a socially enriching experience, from the delicious made to order meals to crafts, a fun movie theater, an old fashioned malt shop and fun outings. They respect your privacy while giving you a sense that your loved one is being well cared for.

Place is starting to show wear and tear in the resident rooms and hallways. Frequent change in staff since Covid. Was more attractive 2 years ago when my parent moved in. Needs to keep it cleaner...
