It’s been almost a year since I joined Belay and what a year it has been. God answered a lot of prayers through this church. Finding a community to call home, a place where I instantly felt welcomed wasn’t something I was expecting. I was initially skeptical, having never been to a house church, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I have been challenged and supported in my spiritual growth, loved and nudged. Belay is a beautiful place of worship, education, faith, fellowship and laughter. If you are looking for a church, community and home or curious about God we’d love to have you.

I was nervous about finding a solid/biblical church when I moved to Boulder. This church has exceeded my expectations. It is intentional in ministry and community, sermons are based on scripture, and it feels more like a family than any other church I’ve been to. I was also pleased to see how many people from around the world gather to worship here! It’s very international. I’ve been here for over a year now and will attend as long as I live in Boulder. If you’re interested in visiting but unsure of what to expect, just try it out, we would love to have you! We meet in our pastors home, so expect to see a house when you pull up (I find this to be a perk!).

Belay Church is a great community. Right from the beginning I felt at home. Solid foundation in the Bible with a great community and worship. In the past year the church has grown a lot from bing a small house church size to now typical attendance around 40 people.

Belay Church is an amazing place to worship and hear the Word of God. I started attending this church last year and immediately felt like I was family. The people at this church made me feel like I belong. I have been challenged to grow in my faith through Pastor Paul (and others) weekly messages. And I am inspired to reach out to my community with the life giving message of Jesus Christ. I would HIGHLY recommend Belay to anyone who is looking for a solid bible believing Holy Spirit filled church!!

Belay is a very welcoming church and they make you feel like you belong whether you believe or not. It is a place to learn about the word of God in Jesus’ Name. The people are very loving who attend and the Pastor is very approachable to discuss anything regarding the Bible and Christianity.

Belay Church has been a major answered prayer! Paul and Patty are the most humble and kindhearted pastors I've met. From the moment I walked into this house church, I've felt so loved and supported by everyone. This church has pushed me well outside of my comfort zone and the community here is authentic. The sermons are solidly based in God's Word and the teaching is well done and accessible for newer believers. Not only that, the members of this church have shown up to help anyone in need and have a strong focus on prayer. I was initially hesitant to check out a house church and after just giving this church a try, love being a part of this church family. Would highly recommend folks to check this church out, if anything they have great coffee and monthly potlucks!

Paul and Patty are amazing pastors, and were Senior Pastors at my church in Beijing; a large multi-cultural, multi-denominational international church, with over 900 members, and part of a larger group of 14 congregations that all meet in Beijing. Paul and Patty are exceptional pastors/leaders and they care deeply for the people around them. During their time of leadership at our church, it not only became more dynamic and exciting, but the church became more of a family than it had ever been before, a place where everyone is welcome, and we still enjoy this culture today. When they left our church they left with blessing and full support to start a new church in boulder, and I can fully endorse Belay Church as I have (and still am) enjoying the success of their ministry. Do yourself a favour and visit them at Belay church.

Belay Church, led by Paul and Patty Durbin, is a place that provides much guidance, support, prayer and love unlike any other place I have known. I was a part of their weekly prayer gatherings online after they arrived in Boulder after leaving Beijing, China (in which they were my pastors there for 3 years). It was great for me when I, too, returned from Beijing, China and wanted to continue to be plugged in to a good ministry. Paul's style of preaching is practical, insightful and relative. This would be a great place for single adults, young families or really anyone of any age to plug in for spiritual guidance, prayer support, fellowship and to just be a part of a great community.
