My 1st Church Service since the pandemic in March 2020. I have been staying out of the way and under radar but, I miss church so much. One of My friends from work invited me to fellowship at their church (he and his wife's) church for Easter Sunday. There were as many as 300 baptisms taking place that Sunday morning during service. The Energy Was Amazing! As they emerged from the water many of them shouted "Praise God" and lifted their hands to the sky. It was a Blessing to be in the House of The Lord. I wire my mask because there were so many people. The experience was more like a concert experience. I am usually a member of small to medium size churches. I find it easier to get to know everyone and build relationships. I prefer a more intimate congregation but, I did enjoy my experience at Bayside. I would like to attend again on a regular day, meaning a non-holiday service. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind.

My husband and I were members from the time Bayside started at the high school. We severed as greeters and had a large bible study group for many years.
We became disappointed in attending church as it would ask for money several times during service. I know that Bayside does a lot for the community and that's awesome. However, it became very apparent that unless you lived where the very rich lived and your name was associated with giving lots of money, that Ray Johnson wouldn't give you even a hello. We can a test to that on more than one occasion. Infact when we tried to approach him in the public just to say hi he totally ignored us. We saw the same with our dear friends who also poured their hearts helping to build Bayside not being acknowledged for their time and love for the church.
That's when we decided to find a church who teaches from the Bible and takes the time meet his congregation.
Example of that is we moved to a new location and the church wasn't huge but not small either and within a couple of weeks the pastor and his wife wanted to meet with us out for lunch.
His genuine love for Christ and the people in his churches, yes churches feels very loved.

I have attended Bayside for about one year now. And I absolutely love it. What drew my family here was the special needs ministry Safe Harbor. One of my sons has autism and type 1 diabetes. I was nervous to leave him and go to service but the staff is absolutely amazing. I often will receive a text during service with an update. When his blood sugar is going low I text and they have a snack already being given to him. I honestly haven’t felt so at home until I attended Bayside.

Unfortunately we don’t live in the area and drive 45 mins to the Saturday service. But it’s well worth it. In my opinion I have never felt pressured to give more than what our family can. I know my giving goes to exactly what God has it planned for.

Please know that this is the only Church I have ever attended that has outside auditors once a year to go over all the financial details. I have in the past gone to Churches that didn’t do this and it did reflect within the Church.

Bayside is absolutely wonderful. And I know that all good things for God do come with attacks of the enemy.

I served at Bayside for decades as usher, volunteered at Thrive, Easter and Christmas - gave tens of thousands of $$ to Bayside ministry - I was part of a small group, where I met some good people; a well known Bayside member - yet when I stopped attending, despite having 80+ Bayside friends on Facebook, not one person contacted me and neither has the church leadership. Come to think of it, no one ever approached me in all these years at church, asking how I’m doing or if I need any help…

The Bayside pastors and leaders don’t care about you personally - the most you’ll hear from them is - we’ll pray for you.

Ray Johnston and other church leaders avoid you in between services (fake smile and say hey, but won’t stop to chat like normal pastors that care about you and want to help or pray for you) that is despite the fact that I served at Bayside for many years - you’re disposable and just another number…

My faith has been shaken after I contacted pastor Ray, no response to a loyal tithing Bayside member, ignoring my request for help.

I’ve seen too much ungodly behavior with fear driven politics in the past few years - cool words on stage, but so fake in real life.

Our family visited the church for Christmas night and loved every minute of it. Great message in the form of music. Very professional and organized event. We felt like family while we were there.

This church does amazing things for the community and by connecting communities together. Recently church members got to be chosen by children in Africa to be their sponsors. I feel pretty special to be chosen by one of those angels! It’s a blessing. Some of the church ministry are sponsoring multiple children. People will never be perfect like Jesus, but Jesus has a presence here and is influencing the culture at this church.
