I adore going to any and all farmers markets. This was my first time going to the battlecreek farmer's market and most vendors were amazing. However I bought eggs on Wed, May 14 and it is now fri, May 16. I cracked open an egg I bought from one of the vendors and it was completely ROTTEN and black. I cracked open another because things happen and people make mistakes so one bad egg isn't an issue. The next one was basically water (meaning it's very very old). Then I decided instead of cracking them all I will just do the float test. if they float they are old because the air pocket inside has grown due to the egg turning old and watery and settling. Every single egg floated except one. Very disappointed. I took a video to post but it's only allowing pictures so screenshots will have to work

I just discovered the BC Farmers Market today... and I think this is amazing! Tons of fresh produce, unique eateries and unusual crafts/gifts.

I personally love the unusual eatery foods, like Shwe Mandalay Burmese Cuisine. Tons of flavor!! There's even a large sitting/picnic area to sit and eat.

I 100% recommend visiting the farmers market! I believe it's open weekly on Wednesday.

I didn’t get there in 2021, but the previous year had a great experience with a vendor who told me to come back in a few hours, he was going to pick me a full bushel of tomatoes for canning. The price was great, service was great, and it was a really nice experience! Will come back again to support the community.

Sort of small, but I think it's getting more attention and will likely grow. Downtown Battle Creek is a pleasant little area with small businesses. The farmer's market is located on the square and offers lots of fresh produce, soaps, honey, and more. The vendors are friendly and willing to answer any questions. There are only a few food trucks, so the lines can get bad around lunch time. Sometimes there are not enough tables if you choose to dine there. All the produce I've purchased has lasted longer than produce purchased in the store I frequent. Some vendors seem to rush you and aren't the most friendly. It's small, but you'll likely find something good.

So fun! Music and awesome vegetables and fruits to choose from. Lunch is served from several places and lot's of baked goods and even homemade pretzels. A great place to go

We love Saturday mornings at the Farmer's Market. Good food, fresh produce and baked goods, etc. Often there's live music, too. The Wednesday Market is much bigger, when you can make it.

Stopped by and asked a simple question like do you spray. Received a Rude response like everything is sprayed. So false. WILL never go back to this place again... went to sprouts tbey took their time to talk to us. Strongly suggest Sprouts for all your produce needs.
