Horrible and disgusting place, the food is expired, my daughter got sick drinking spoiled milk that looked like it came from a elementary school who didn't want to waste milk. The staff here treat you like your IQ is less than of an infant and inforce rules that are unethical. The residents here are unbelievably senseless and irresponsible and small minded ppl.and the worse part is being locked out of the dorms all day including the heat.most ppl who can't be in the heat due to medical conditios stay lock from 1pm- 3pn Everything there is unorganized and no one follows the rules kids unsupervised all the time and. In. My defense I have a past here and I know more than anyone that place needs to be thoroughly looked at this place isn't what they make it out to seem a happy and go lucky place when it's a disaster behind closed doors. Kids peeing on the floor and no one does anything about it. No parents and no staff to be seen.

Just drop off your donations and someone will help you. Seems like there aren’t very many people working there and there is very few spaces to park but I hope the donations help someone there, and truthfully, that’s all that matters!

this place needs to be investigated. they serve you rotten, moldy expired food. they favor certain types of people, as in they'll help certain people and drag their feet on other people. most of those services they advertise online they don't even do in real life. if someone made a call to the right person this place would get shut down

They do good work. Providing housing to indigent women, children and men. They help with re-housing, serviceable clothing and what can be called food if you are hungry enough. There are plenty of problems with the place and the way its run, but it makes the best it can given what and who it has to work with. Please donate gently used items of any kind, I really mean anything a human can use, it helps more than you would believe.

I tried to make a large donation and left a message go the donations manager and never got a callback. The young lady that answered tha phone was as rude an obnoxious as I have ever encountered. To have her customer facing or answering the phone is the best way to stop people from donating. When I explained what happened and asked to be connected to the center manager this rude, obnoxious and completely incompetent young lady gave me tot the voice. Mail of the donations manager. The exact person that couldn’t take the time to call me back after 3 days. I called back and told the young lady I want the center manager not the donations manager. How can a nonprofit organization that relies on donations in kind can have a rude incompetent per be the first person a person wanting to donate needs to talk to. If was ever treated in this manner I wouldn’t donate a half eaten hamburger to these people. I put this on the center director because you never know how an employee will act until they start working there. This highly in professional young lady should be unload donations and not speak to ay member of the public.

If you are a homeowner and thinking of working with the shelter stay away. The staff promised to place people who could afford to pay bills and spoke about the support they offer home owners if they offer housing to people in the shelter. It has been nothing but lies, they set the tenants up for failure bills are almost always late right now there is $1200+ Outstanding. They place the tenants then let them drown. My first tenant had multiple dogs after being told she couldn’t then tried to break into a storage unit to install a washer dryer than tried to get me to pay for it. I renter my studio to a woman with two kids, she had 3 adults plus herself and kids and a large dog living there. When I tried to ask for help the workers Jessica Maretich and Veronica lies and said that was not true and turn around and told the tenants she can have them stay if she wants eventually the extra people smashed out the windows and I had to file a police report and restraining order, the extra tenant was on felony probation and the shelter did nothing to stop his illegal tenancy. One tenant lives as though the house is a trash can the other tenants complain about smells the last time I stopped by there was molded food all over the floors counters stove and in the cabinets. The other tenant turns her phone of for weeks whenever I send a bill. Anytime I ask for help the workers act as if I’m wrong and make excuses or tell the tenants not to listen to me. This is a 6 month nightmare IF YOU ARE A HOME OWNER MAKE SURE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU TALK WITH JESSICA MARETICH OR VERONICA RAMOS. There was one worker that was very helpful but JESSICA MARETICH TOLD HER TO MIND HER BUSINESS AND SHE COULD NO LONGER HELP. The tenants complain to me about the workers promising them support than not giving it I don’t even blam the tenants I blame the shelter and specifically JESSICA MARETICH. Update working with the shelter cost me 15k in back rent after they didn’t provide job help or any help to the tenant and then cut her funding. I would like to know the experience of other home owners and start a class action lawsuit. They don’t care about the property owners they place these people and they don’t care to help the people better themselves.
