So today i finally get to apply for assistance. i dont like applying for anything but right now i’m going through a lot and before i have a breakdown i need some help. So the portal opens for utility assistance. But ofcourse it’s not working. so
i call someone says to call thme hotline number. i been calling since 8 this morning no answer. i try the portal again and it’s open, i put my information on the portal and now it’s stating contact already exists and to search contact. I do not know what that mean since this is my first application. i call again and someone says oh sometimes the system recognizes the same email and blah blah blah. i’m trying to explain i did not to an application. Why i look ont he portal again and now they have all the application for April and to try again in June. Annoyed is an understatement. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Scammers. Few yrs ago I helped alot of people, housed them. These guys never paid me accordingly, per their program. Disappeared pretty much. Sent in all the info. And nothing. Probably embezzled it. Alot of corruption like this in Houston, govt send funds to help people and these guys pocket most of it, offering minimal help. FBI should investigate, them, local govt as well. Nepotism, clear conflicts of interests, judges, mayor. Police. Etc

You know... I've been waiting for RENTAL ASSISTANCE OR UTILITY ASSISTANCE 4 years. I'm told to put in a new application because you need it in updated paper that was what, made in the current year.

You think my needs changed drastically because you celebrated NEW YEARS?

The only thing that changed was the price of eggs. It tripled!!!!!

My income did not change, my mental health did not improve, my facing eviction did not stop, and I continued to work, I even changed my underwear.

But if you don't have the funding to help with the needs of the community, then why are we paying you. That's a lot of profit, for a non-profit.

Does this constitute an EMERGENCY NEED FOR A HOMELESS MOTHER AND 4 CHILDREN?

Any guidance or assistance at this time, would be helpful. Actually, no...I need help not another number or agency to call.

This organization is amazing and my case worker Ms. Caioppo is a total angel on earth and so professional. I am a veteran and became sick this past summer and fell beind on my rent. They helped me catch up and I am so grateful. Thank you BakerRipley!!

Bakers ripley is not a good fit for low income seniors, that have problems paying their electric bill. Can't get ,won't answer the phone. I have been calling them since January when I submitted my first application. Submitted a second application. I have received three shut off notice from my energy company. Just received a fourth bill this week. This is going into the fourth month.
