Stopped by at 6 today, sign says open as does their hours. There were people inside too. However, when we went to go in the door was locked.

This place is NEVER open. The weirdest hours. In over 2 years never have I caught it open. When I did, she made us leave and said I'll be back in a few hours. Lordy why have a store if you aren't open

The Avenue church is an amazing place. At the Dream Center they organize food distribution for area people and give away literally tons of food. Once a month we deliver food to people who can't come in to pick it up. I have never seen such generosity! People get fresh and frozen meat, fresh veggies and fruit, bread and additional staples to live on for a month! We ask each person if they would like prayer and often they say yes. This is an incredibly well run, diverse and open hearted church. It is a real privilege to be part of all that is going on.
