Excellent facility and outstanding Staff. Several months ago I dropped off a donation from my Yarn Shoppe of hand crafted knit and crocheted baby blankets and throws, and beanies for the families there who have loved ones at the hospital. The gentleman at the reception desk was very nice and friendly and greatly appreciated our donations. CAB☺️🧶

I cannot think the staff enough for their time and consideration and their patience with me and my children. I am so grateful for them. They are so kind and welcoming. I spent a little over two weeks. This my home why I care for my son. My toddler loved the playroom and my son was crazy about all the video games they had. The only negative thing I have to say is, I am disappointed in other families who did not clean up after themselves in the common areas I was very shocked, seeing families leave so much dirty dishes, and everything in the kitchen and not helping to clean when everything that we needed was always provided so I was happy to clean anything I found. I am very grateful for the Ronald McDonald house.

I can't speak as a guest, only as a volunteer, but this seems like an amazing opportunity for those in need. The Aurora house is quite obviously well managed, clean, and overall really nice. The guests generally seem happy and thankful and there's just an overall very pleasant, peaceful vibe!

So kind and courteous. Meals donated and activities while staying with someone in the hospital. Second best to being home.

I stayed there for a little over a month in Nov/Dec of 2016. This place was a life saver and the staff was excellent. The facility itself far exceeded my expectations. Wish I could give it six stars.

I volunteered to make breakfast with my stepsons boy scout troop. The staff and facility are great to work with. The residents were always polite and thankful.

We had to make the difficult decision of transferring our daughter's care to CHoC from FL. We normally stay at a RMH in Orlando, so this was our second home we have stayed at. From checking in with Dave, to the house manager Connie, our few weeks at the Aurora House were absolutely exceptional. The rooms are spacious and clean, and we appreciated having our own thermostat (the FL house has one per entire floor) amd being able to park on site. The beds were comfortable and there is ample storage between the dresser, nightstand, and open closet area. We also loved the app, so we could plan weekly dinners appropriately. The volunteers make delicious dinners a few nights a week, and there is a breakfast cart on Thursday morning. The first week we were there, the elevator was down but has since been fixed. There are multiple seating areas throughout the House, as well as a gorgeous play room and outdoor area with grills. The only downsides we experienced were the traffic noise at night from the interstate (nothing a sound machine couldn't drown out) and we did have a problem with some of our food/drinks taken from our personal room bin in the fridge. But these were miniscule in the big picture. We know we are going to have to make frequent trips to CHoC over the next several months, and knowing we have an amazing extended family at RMH Aurora makes it so much easier. We will be forever grateful for the staff, volunteers, and other families we have met in CO who make going through such a tough time more bearable.
