After a good recommendation, my family was able to place my Mom in Aspen after a not so good experience at a local hospital and skilled nursing center. She definitely needed TLC and that is what she got for the last 2 months of her life. The caregivers at Aspen were exceptional. They took care of her physical needs but also her emotional ones, as she was oftentimes anxious from experiencing advanced stages of Parkinsons. We also appreciated the beautiful backyard with citrus trees and blooming flowers which was my Mom's view from her room.
I am very happy we found Aspen. The owner, Tracey, was always available and on top of my Mom's hospice care, as well as making my family feel welcome. On my siblings last visit, the caregivers brought a lot of extra chairs into her room so my Mom's four kids could sit with her during her final days.

Aspen took excellent care of my Dad, Chuck Weldy, for over 2 years. He had Alzheimer's and nothing about that disease is easy or pleasant. But Aspen made it as good as it could have been. Tracey and her staff could not have been any better.
Having him get such excellent care for his last years is something I will always treasure. Even through the 2020 COVID times, they helped us better communicate and stay in touch with him.
He lived in other (substandard) homes before, but finding Aspen was a godsend to our family. The care he received was better than I could have ever expected.
Loving & nurturing my Dad just like he was part of their family. Our family will always be appreciative of the gifts bestowed on my Dad and us, through their care.

We had my Father In Law Henry in there for only a few days as we knew he was near the end. I just wanted to say what a wonderful place this is. Tracy, April and Jennifer were all great. It really is a lovingly place for senior care and we'd wished Henry could have known what great hands he was in and how nice the home is. If Tracy has an opening don't hesitate for a minute. The opening will be gone shortly there after. ?

While making the important decision for my Mom's care home, I was so fortunate to be recommended to visit Aspen Care Home.
Aspen Care has all the comforts of being in a warm comfortable home. The large welcoming great room with plenty of space for family and friends to sit and visit, the dining area with outside patio and view of the indoor fireplace and the spacious personal rooms. The staff of professional caregivers provided my Mom such love and comfort. I highly recommend Aspen Care Home for your special loved one.

Aspen Care Home is a great place. My father was a resident for almost 3 years and truly felt as if he was home. Tracey and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They don’t just take care of their residents, they become friends and family with them. They went above and beyond taking care of my dad and making him, and the rest of the resident, feel like they are home. I definitely recommend anyone look for a care home for a loved one to consider Aspen Care Home.

Aspen Care provided excellent care for my uncle. Tracey and the entire care staff are amazing and my uncle's quality of life improved after he moved to this wonderful and spacious home with personalized care. We live out of state and they accommodated us warmly during visits and kept us informed about his care. Once hospice was involved, they worked so well together. We have peace we made the right decision for him.

Aspen may be a facility, but it feels like a home. A warm, welcoming environment with caregivers that put CARE first in everything they do. Tracey and her team of competent professionals not only treat their residents as family, they treat the resident's family as family too. They were never too busy to help, listen or make suggestions when it came to my father. Dealing with the owner (who happens to be a kind, thoughtful person plus the added bonus of being a trained nurse) instead of a large corporation made all the difference in my fathers care. We worked together to make sure he was doing the best he could. I can't recommend Aspen enough.

Positive - the staff was wonderful. Clean living & we felt that it was a good environment for our Mother.
Negative - the owner did not pass on any mail, or even let us know that mail was at the facility for our Mother to be picked up. This led to debt collectors calling us. Obviously this could have been avoided.
Negative - our Mother was to be released from the hospital after a 2 week stay & we received a short text from the owner, the day she was to be released, informing us that she would not take our Mother back. We understood her decision, but we had 1 hour to make a decision as to what facility to send her.
