This is a great church with an outstanding ministry team. The Pastor has really good sermons and they have a pipe organ that is out of this world. The music program is top notch, especially when the choir sings. They also do a lot of community outreach and charity work.

We joined this church a few years ago and LOVE it! Very welcoming, relatable sermons, and kind. They also do great outreach and service events like sheltering the homeless one week a month in the winter. If you have young kids (we have two), this is a great church with many events for little ones: Trick-or-Trunk, Sunday Bible Study for preschoolers, and a fabulous nursery! If you are looking for a church, this is one worth checking out!

They have no compassion for pain. They judge it. I went there for 6 years and they have no understanding of the psychological depth of depression or loss. Stay away from Clyde, because he’ll physically attack you. He’s a retired police officer and still paranoid. He doesn’t care whether you have a messed up spine or a left shoulder that’s in pieces.

He just likes to throw people to the the hard floor because he likes to assert the power he once had as a police officer.

The only good thing about Ascension is that they are very kind to children who have developmental disabilities.

my son started attending the preschool at A.L.C, in 2012. his first day had us worried. William did not want to participate, he was frustrated and had trouble focusing. now nearing the end of the school year 2013, we have seen an amazing turn around in our son. he is sharing, playing well with other children, listens to direction, counts for us,sings his abc's, recognizes his name and the letters in his name when looking at other words. he loves school and is just a happy and increasingly intelligent little boy. he loves his teachers and tells them so often. miss Wendy and deedee are amazing! there patience and understanding has brought him a long way since that first day of school. another plus is that the school is very affordable. our son will be attending again next year and i cant wait to see what next year has in store for Williams development. I would recommend ascension Lutheran preschool to any parent. sinceraly, Dan slack.
