I was recommended this place by someone who had stayed here a year and a half ago. They told me that the place really helped them and it was good. So I was disappointed when I kept being told they had no space for me and my baby. Also, they told me they don't help with child care and can't guarantee housing. And you have to have a part time job to stay here. How can we work if we don't have childcare and how can we get childcare without a job?🤦🏽‍♀️ I guess it was better a few years ago but now it's not of any help.

This place used to be a safe haven. I stayed here before and things were great. However, this place has went downhill. I have recommended this place to multiple people and all of them got in the shelter and were thrown out on the streets. It’s amazing this place is supposed to prevent homelessness but throw people out for absolutely anything. The staff is horrible and treat the residents like a prison. I understanding having rules but to treat people who are already down on their luck is horrible. I refused to donate or recommend anyone go to this place.

Dropped someone off here so they could get a bed, they left them outside all day and called the cops on them after 12AM, if you're in this line of work you need to be resilient, to take the negativity thrown your way and bounce back with positivity and at the very least address those who come for help with a simple "I'm sorry we tried everything we can but there aren't any beds availible, you might try ____ over at ____ who may be able to take you, would you like us to give them a call to check?"

This is the first time I had to live in a shelter and I'm grateful that God sent me to one where there was respect and professionalism. The staff has been nothing but kind to me. You get three meals, a bed, a shower, laundry amenities, classes, medical assistance, and also transportation to get around in the city. This is a part of my test turning into a testimony for the Glory of God! Peace and Blessings! Thank you!
