The facility demonstrated poor customer service during my attempt to admit my mother. Despite an apology from a nurse, my mother's application was ultimately rejected without any explanation. This experience suggests that the facility may not be capable of providing adequate care without significant family involvement, which is not the intended purpose of such facilities.

I am a social worker in Denver and recently used Arkansas Valley Hospice for a patient. The staff were incredibly kind, efficient, and helpful. They deeply cared about honoring the patient and family wishes. I would highly recommend.

My family had Arkansas Valley Hospice for my father. The team was amazing and treated him as if he was the only patient the nurse had at that time. By far the #1 care for him, my mother and our family. You will have an amazing experience and the best care. I know my mom could not have been able to provide the care she did without the amazing nurses, CNA's and support staff. Medical equipment was brought in to make my dad comfortable. Hospice is a free service to patients. Medicare and Medicaid pay the cost of hospice. I really like the fact they have been in the area since 1985 and all local staff. Staff was available during hours and a nurse was on call 24/7. I would highly recommend Arkansas Valley over all hospices in the area.
