I truly don’t understand why y’all keep letting the same people work here and they are only there to keep people down. They throw things away that they shouldn’t throw away. They report things that shouldn’t be reported to keep people down. It’s absolutely ridiculous. The people who actually work here are more criminal than the criminals who have to stay. Zero stars! Stop living off of other peoples problems and traumatic life experiences, and start actually trying to help them. Can’t bring things back from Valentines or Christmas because you guys throw them away which is absolutely ridiculous yet you want somebody to heal themselves and get back into the community but you still stripped them everything that helps them do that and find it as a game to pin and pick on people who haven’t done any wrong. Grow up. I wouldn’t even give you one star if it wasn’t for me having to do that just to send this review and by the way, never been in trouble don’t have a record so I’m speaking for those who do who struggle in this building trying to make a way

This place is horrible don't go here if at all possible. They set the clients up to fail. The case managers are an absolute joke. Their job is to keep these guys in as long as they can for the money. They insist on them getting jobs so they can pay their rent. Then the case manager refuses to provide passes according to the work schedules or provide extended passes if needed. If a client is advancing through their levels to quickly they make up things to get them in trouble and hold them back! Not to mention there is no air conditioning and the facility and food are disgusting and dirty. They treat visitors as if they are clients and discourage visitation. No children are allowed to visit at this facility. Wake up DOC you are supposed to be helping clients back into society. Shame on You! Maybe you need to see how a real halfway house works. Provide the tools for a client to get a job! Like the internet and lab computers. Provide bus passes as needed not a 72 hour notice or i will ignore you. (we all know who are)

Tried to reach a friend there. A lady that sounded like she's smoked for 50 years answered and just kept saying "I can't hear you" and hung up. Tried 4 times after that and no one answered the phone.

I would not even rate this treatment facility a one. This facility is so much worse than the others. They do not keep family informed. I have left messages for Rory the director to discuss serious concerns I've had over my husbands treatment and he wont. Respond to my calls. Now it's to late, my husband was completely frustrated and ready to explode, hence the reason for my calls. Well now he is back in jail with a charge. The counselors will push you til you break. They give incorrect information and when you try to tell them any different they will write you up and harrass you. They will hold you back just to keep getting their money. The staff will belittle you and just do things to get under your skin, for example shine flashlights in your face while sleeping. Immature for anyone. If at all possible do not come to this treatment center, choose another one or remain in jail or prison and then just get released from there. This place will not help you at all.

The girl Amanda that works there is incredibly rude! One of the workers named Chris gave me the ok to come and pick something up at 11 that belongs to me. So when I got there I called to let them know I was here and Amanda answered the phone and told me “no you can’t be here and that you would have to wait a few days to come and get it, ok bye.” First off thanks for wasting my time and my gas, she should of asked Chris if he gave me the ok, or something because it would of taken 5 seconds to hand me what I coming there for. Even though you may not be in their facility they still will treat you like some kind of criminal. No wonder why people don’t wanna stay or go there.

Describe my experience is the prompt given here.. You know, I w-as raised that If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. So I'll just leave it at this: If you're a client, just go back to prison, you're better off, and it's cheaper, and you won't catch an escape charge because your boss wants you to work late and someone in the ACTC office forgot to extend your pass. If you're a member of the community, I suggest you start asking questions about where your tax dollars are going. This is not a good place to be, and I don't feel that anyone who worked there when I "completed" their program (and by "completed" I mean "bought my freedom for the nominal price of $10,000) should be allowed to continue working there to provide "treatment" for ex-offenders.

I am a resident at this facility until July 16th. I have Christine as a case manager she is really caring and does an awesome job at her work. I had many struggles while being here and Christine was there every time there are residents who make the program difficult to succeed but if I can make it through the program anyone can it took me three attempts now I have successfully completed the halfway house

This facility needs to undergo a full scale internal investigation. There is serious concerns in regards to lack of accountability of clients medications and personal belongings. Suspicions of staff stealing clients medications and personal belongings for personal gain are in question. Staff are overly familiar with clients. Trumped up charges are being placed on clients to place them on hold/ delay their release. Failure to maintain operable washing machines and dryers causing clients to be in noncompliance of Arapahoe Community Treatment Center standards (clients must wash clothes weekly). Case managers failure to advise clients properly on process to re-enter society. There is dire need of training for staff. None of the staff are consistent with following proper protocol; security checks, event logs or incident report writing etc. The facility is constantly out of supplies; cleaning, gloves, toiletries etc. ACTC fails to have on call staff to make decisions during crisis situations. Finally, ACTC has proven on numerous occasions why this is an unfit facility that falls below meeting its primary mission.
