This post has really gone down hill they used to care about their veterans now they only want to line their own pockets while denying any help to their local veterans. It is supposed to be a volunteer post but now they are having to pay it's staff and the staff is rude and unknowledgeable its really sad. that they will rip their own brothers in arms off.

Just got off the phone with a lady that identified herself as Dianne.I called to ask some questions about the organization and if they worked long side the VFW.Dianne told me the they are like the "Hatfield's and McCoy's" which I took as if they don't get along very well. As I remember in what I know about the feud between the "Hatfield's and McCoy's" they hated each other and the feud got pretty nasty to say the least. I was calling to see if they would be interested in getting some support for their organization,I'm doing a fundraiser for Vets in our community.I was going to donate $100.00 to the American Legion Post 26 in Bakersfield for each person that signed up for pest control in the month of May,2016.However after Dianne made the statement "Are you trying to get your company recognized in the community" with a condescending voice, I felt like not continuing the conversation with her,as I felt that she was almost being defensive toward me.I told her no that I wasn't trying to make a name for my company,I already have that! I was just trying to help the organization out by GIVING them money.Anyway if your reading this I hope that I explained myself well,and as far as the American Legion Post 26 in Bakersfield is concerned they will NOT be getting my support ever!. I'm sorry if your a member of that post,you might want to think about getting a new spoke person or a new person to answer your phone at the post.
