If you like karaoke then Friday is a good time to go. Also they have eats as well. No smoking allowed inside. You can ask for a membership application...maybe call about it or ask most any person there.

+JMJ...Visited here to hear a fellow co-worker and his wife share their musical skills at an open-mic event. They were great! As this was my first visit ever to this American Legion post, I can say I was impressed with the facility: fully outfitted with a kitchen (they were frying up some yummy looking/smelling fries!!), a bar, and a very nice sitting area equipped with a small stage. If ever possible, I plan to attend one of their scheduled Fish Fry events. Also, as a Navy veteran, I would love to see more of the historic photos and memorials. God bless all veterans from yesteryear ? and now. ?

Visiting Veterans have remarked about how nice this facility is, and we think it's the cleanest, most modern and well managed American Legion we've ever been in. This is a volunteer organization and the volunteers truly love serving their veteran members and guests. Volunteers we're busy during COVID-19, remodeling, reroofing and sprucing up this facility. NO smoking inside, but the open-air front patio welcomes smokers. Bar staff are skillful and always welcoming and they work in a fully stocked bar with spirits, brews and vino. Plenty of activities; we've had lunch there twice, delicious, ample servings and very inexpensive. Karaoke a couple nights a week, fish-seafood dinners, billiards, darts and of course 'Bingo.' Please note: Karaoke and Bingo evenings are open to the public! The American Legion features an exceptionally talented band that plays rock, country and special requests! Diverse groups gather here, younger and older veterans truly enjoy each other's company and spouses often accompany their veteran. This isn't the dark, smoke filled, sleeping on the bar Legion. Huge paved parking, for trucks-autos and dedicated motorcycle parking. Up front, next to the entrance, there's handicap parking too. With cooler weather, members and guests also enjoy the large back patio.

The fried chicken dinner is the best kept secret in Cottonwood! Each dinner is cooked at time of order! Yes! you get a crisply crunchy juice half chicken served hot with mashed potatoes and choice of gravy, white or brown, green beans and a salad with choice of dressing. Woohoo!! Good luck finishing all that! Ohhh yeaaa.....
