We would like to thank the American Legion for allowing us to park our semi for a few days. By them doing so, it allowed us to stay in town longer to enjoy time with our friends whom we came into town for in the first place to attend their wedding.

The owner's name is John and he did a great job with timely service. Highly recommended. He modified this photography backdrop for me so I could mount it on the side of my truck

AWESOME POST! I'm a VFW member now an American Legion member. I live full-time in the White Mountains. I've searched high & low to become a member of an inclusive Veteran organization on the mountain. Every VFW up here is an "old man's club" as the locals call them. My generation (OIF/OEF) DO NOT return to VFWs up here after membership. We can't find "our" brothers & sisters. Just old men who think we're as young as their kids, & we serve them. The VFW wants our numbers. Numbers equate to money. But, unfortunately, the VFWs in the White Mountains(especially the Show Low VFW)do not respect my generation. My friends & I drove out to Springerville to check out both the American Legion and their VFW. The VFW there is better than the Show Low VFW bar none. But, the same old timers with the same attitude is clearly present. All of us saw it & felt it. That's not the case with the Springerville American Legion. Humongous Difference in the building & the people! There will be a mass exodus of war veterans leaving the Show Low VFW and veterans unaffiliated with either, joining the Springerville American Legion. We OIF/OEF Veterans found a home!!! We found were our boys & gals are. We're respected at this American Legion Post. I implore my fellow OIF/OEF Veterans in the White Mountains to check this post out before wasting money at any VFW on the mountain. You won't regret it!
