*Update* We are now taking sailing lessons here and it has been fun! Great volunteers who are our instructors, beautiful grounds and making lots of friends! What a great community!

Beautiful trails all over this area. These pictures are from just over the bridge on 36/37 going east....just after the water. Just before Africa Rd. Sailing club was fun! A couple guys let us on their boat during the race!!

This is my favorite place in the Columbus Area. The class of people at this sailing club is second to none. If you're a sailor or a future sailor, this is THE place to be.

We have rented this site for a Scandinavian Midsommar celebration for several years. The covered shelter and restrooms are nothing fancy, but the facility is fine for our event. Parking is plentiful onsite. The only drawback is that the water isn't very close to the shelter / event area.

This is a great place to sail small boats. The membership is cheap, especially compared to nearby hoover or leatherlips, and the people are VERY friendly. The sailing is excellent, as Alum Creek typically has some breeze, though for a boat without a motor it can be somewhat difficult to get out of the channel and into the open lake. Also, ACSA organises races every Wednesday!

What a beautiful hideaway. Being from the East Coast it's nice to hang out by the marina. A place to enjoy nautical sports or just lounge and take in the views of all the sails and boaters.
