This place had become a place where both Bastet and I enjoyed coming until we were very rudely informed that no dogs or cats are welcome to attend Althea any longer. Since Bastet Naturewalker is no longer welcome that means I am no longer welcome. We will either find or start our own spiritual center since 3 years of community was thrown away by the board members.

Althea center for engagement . Non-denominational church Denver Colorado. Great for family also has a breakfast every Sunday make sure you come in say hello get a cup of coffee grab a bite and catch some words. LGTBQ welcome here. We enjoy everyone. God is here for us all.

For me, the Althea Center was an undiscovered treasure--a 101 year old building decorated beautifully for the holidays. It is a nice setting to appreciate life and friendships.

Housed in a beautiful 100 year old Building, warm, friendly welcome, and Rev. Christina Jones is inspiring. Good music, this day, guest singer Laura Webber accompanied by Renee. Location is accessible and ample off street parking.

beautiful historic building with a great main hall and stage. it's one of those gems that you can drive by for years and not know. it's gems like these why I love living in the urban part of Denver instead of the cookie cutter suburbs

It's a friendly Community. Everyone is welcome no matter of race or sexual orientation. They also have a luncheon after service. Cost $5.00. Casual dress. This past Sunday I felt the spirit of the Lord. Have choir, Violinist who is wonderful, pianist who plays great. Very modern service. You should all come and enjoy it.

I've never been a religious person and haven't been "spiritual" for many years. But when I moved back to Capitol Hill, I wanted to find a church for my family, to feel more like a part of the community. After trying out four other churches, Althea is my spiritual home! It is simply amazing. Warm, welcoming, genuine, and not so huge that you are lost in the crowd. Come check it out!
