The counselor I had (Marianne) was extremely unprofessional. She made snap judgments on me without actually listening to what I was saying to her whatsoever. She yelled at me and bullied me with her degree and the fact that my evaluation was Court ordered. She then wrote a five paragraph long email bashing me and speaking about me in the most negative way possible. Marianne seems like a narcissist. She was both verbally abusive towards me and bullying. She determined I needed the highest level of counseling despite the fact that this was my first offense ever. I felt that she was only after money that I don't have. She thinks everyone is the same and is very unwilling to listen or understand. When I asked for a second opinion I was told she is the only one in the office that can handle domestic violence. A domestic violence counselor should understand the science of narcissistic abuse, trauma bonding and reactive abuse. She seems ill-equipped to comprehend that anyone is anything other than a violent offender and alcoholic or a drug addict. If you attempt to tell her otherwise you are in denial. I spent $250 to speak to someone for a half an hour who yelled at me, refused to acknowledge my past trauma, called me manipulative, and attempted to saddle me with every financial burden she possibly could. I left that meeting feeling worse about myself than I had any long time. She effectively was very counterproductive to the individual treatment that I have been receiving for myself for years. Somehow she thought her 30-minute assessment of me was more valid than the ones that I have received from professionals over the course of several decades of my life.
*Edit: I have re-read all the other reviews going back at least 5 years and, cannot understand how this place is still in business.

Absolutely terrible establishment!! The lady who checked me in was super nice and chatty. Once I paid and got taken back for testing this rude short old man calls me back being very entitled and blunt. I couldn’t go pee the first time so got a drink of water annd tried again and couldn’t. He then proceeds to tell me I only have one attempt left and if I can’t they’re is no refunds and it’s considered a refusal to pee. I leave and come back, he says once I come in very blunt and grumpy “are you ready yet?” Then Not a word from him after testing while exiting the building! Not only did I get terrible service but the prices change dramatically every few months. I was told by Pretrial services it was 25$, after arriving I found out it’s 50$? A few months ago another person told me it was 30$ Can you also answer your phones when people have questions/call before hand to figure this stuff out prior?I was Absolutely disappointing and dissatisfied! I was just in town for a few days aswell I normally test in Denver and they are 15$-25$ at the most! I would honestly rather have a failed test then to ever enter that establishment again!

Don’t trust this place at all. I called and it went to voicemail saying they offered testing from 4-7 PM on Saturday. Showed up at 5:30 PM and it was closed. Had to drive all the way to Grand Junction to take a test and pay an outrageous amount of money. So upset with this place.

Horrible service. I was discharged for working out of state, I made this known and it wasn't a problem until I did the intake and attended 2 classes. Then I was abruptly discharged for not living in colorado even though my home address is in fact in colorado. When I asked why this happened, I was told it was my fault, I wasn't given credit for the classes, I wasn't given a refund, and they said they wouldn't respond to any more of my questions. I emailed everyone in the office, left 2 voicemails and they still haven't contacted me. Overall very unprofessional, especially Colleen. I am currently in colorado taking time off of work to finish DUI therapy. Will update review depending on how and when they respond.

Horrible service. Their hours and testing locations are very inconsistent and they don't answer the phones when you try and contact them. I have yet to talk to an actual person. If you are not required to test here, DON'T EVER GO HERE! I was on hold for a total of 35 minutes and was then sent to voicemail twice. Extremely frustrating. This place seriously needs to go out of business. Please, someone smack these folks upside the head and give them a quick reality check. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE!

So I needed a substance evaluation. I called and spoke to Justin who on two different occasions quoted me $70. I had to call them 5 times in two weeks just to get on the schedule to get an appointment. I show up to meet the evaluator, Maryann, she is over 45 minutes late, a total panicked wreck and she rushes me through the entire evaluation. Handing me paper after paper to fill out quickly while I am simultaneously answering her deep psychological questions. She was in such a tremendous rush since she was so late that I didn’t even have time to think about any of my answers. She then tells me it’s $250, not $75 that Justin said. She then takes over three weeks to send my evaluation into the requesting party. And it was negative. Thanks a lot. I really feel ripped off by a stupid quack.
