completely dysfunctional organization. received a referral and was told they’d reach out to me in a month, they finally left me a message after a month 5 minutes before their office closed on friday and left me a voicemail on monday afternoon saying i didn’t pick up in time and would how to go threw the referral process again. especially off putting since this is a place that supposedly offers behavioral health services

I started herewith a counselor that was understanding, though rather passive. He helped me figure out a few things that goes on with the brain, and progress was slow, but at least progress helping me figure out a diagnosis. Then he left AACI.

The new counselor i was paired with kept flat out denying a bunch of things I suggested, and highly defensive. Progress screeched to a halt, as she kept saying no to things without really explaining why. Then there was the psychiatrist who was hardly involved. He'd come into the meeting for a few minutes, and then leave the rest to the others

They are not interested in learning and figuring out issues. They're interested in passively collecting on your insurance

The front desk receptionists are rude and discourteous. They do not empathize and show any compassion toward individuals that struggle with the language barrier. It is evident that their employees lack training in their profession. I would not recommend coming here unless you're fine with this kind of discrimination.

Organization has been infiltrated by Al Qaeda/ISIS. There is an individual stating name "Bobby Farhat" this individual is not using a real name and his phone number returns different information. We traced the individual back to extremist Jihadist roots. Be weary and avoid AACI.

Warning...DO NOT COME HERE. when i came here i spoke with a couselor that ended up quitting the next day. Which i know is not ACCI fault. They then switched me to a woman named Cristina. This counselor was the worst counselor i have ever had in my entire life. She made me feel as though everything was my fault, disagreeable, problematic and highly uncooperative. She is NOT the type of counselor you want if you have mental health problems. I shared very vulnerable information with her and instead of helping me to get through it, she over talked me, interupted me and looked at me with disgust even though this is supposed to be a NON judjmental place. NEVER AGAIN, fortunately i moved to Nevada and i have a thereapist that is MUCH better and actually takes the time to listen. DO not come here for help with mental health they will treat you so unprofessionally.

I don't think that's your Mission, because my dad call to make an appointment and was told he can Not have an appointment, because of covid. If it's not an emergency you can't have one. ? Perhaps when he gets worst it will be too late.

The place it self is an easy access one. Plenty of parking space. Service wise, they will make you feel comfortable and welcome. The building is a little old, feels a little too stuffy.
