I absolutely LOVE volunteering for A Little Help! ALH makes volunteering easy and I can work in around my schedule. The staff is amazing and the members that I get to assist and help are so wonderful. Our family is also involved with the Service Saturdays and is a great way to get kids involved in giving back to the community.

ALH was SUCH a huge source of help and support for my Mother and I, when I was her caregiver, not only with Steve a wonderful handyman, but in so many ways at that time and since then too, really just knowing they are there when you need a hand, it makes all the difference! What a WONDERFUL caring group of people! This IS a FIVE-STAR organization!!!

Really awesome that this organization exists. It is so important we come together as a community to help our elders. I have met a lot of wonderful elderly folks in my neighborhood through this organization and they have been so grateful for my help. I really like that A Little Help makes it easy to find volunteer opportunities by using a map platform you can browse and select which requests to fulfill. Jake Dresden who is the Denver coordinator is great!

A Little Help is a great organization that helps fulfill the needs and provides needed resources to underserved older adults in our communities. I have known Hilary (Executive Director) for a number of years now, and could not think of a better person to lead this organization.

I was a member, and canceled my membership around 2-1-19. They told me on the phone and by email that they would no longer charge my credit card for the monthly fee. They charged me the fee in March and also in April. I called them to request the charges be credited to my VISA, and they told me they would NOT do so. I told them if they did not refund my money, I would dispute the charges with VISA. The person I spoke with was rude and hung-up on me. NOT A GOOD WAY TO TREAT A DISABLED ELDERLY PERSON. UPDATE : They called me back the next day and told me they decided to refund my fees. I received the refund to my VISA account. If you would like to become a member, I would use a credit card so you will have some recourse, if need be.

I was disappointed with the process and the reply. In the end, you're asked to become a "member," at a dollar number level. I live on a fixed income, if I could afford to be a member, than I wouldn't have reached out to this organization, for help, I could've simply paid someone to help me.
