My 11 year old and I had an amazing experience at OBKLA! We volunteered with our school and there is no question that we will go back again! The Prep Kitchen area was spotless! The staff was friendly and helpful! We literally labeled, chopped, cooked and boxed up hundreds of meals within a 2 hour period. Everything is an assembly line. Food was prepared ahead of time for us and we prepped it for cooking. BONUS: You get an amazingly delicious cookie after all the hard work! It was an honor to volunteer and be so welcomed!

OBKLA is a wonderful place to volunteer. Everyone is welcome with open arms. The staff is highly organized. The work stations are very clean! I am impressed with the team work ethic that the volunteers bring each session. Also, the meals are made with love and care, not to mention all fresh produce. ? I highly recommend you stop by and volunteer, you will be surprised!

Our volunteer experience at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles was nothing short of inspirational. It was an incredible day where our work group came together to prepare delicious meals for families who don’t have regular access to food. Not only did we contribute to an important cause, but the entire room was filled with positive energy as we connected, bonded, and had such a rewarding experience.

THANK YOU OBKLA - Our Big Kitchen LA! THANK YOU for creating such an uplifting and meaningful experience for our group, to prepare food and create beautiful meal packages for those in need. From the moment we walked in the door, we could feel the love permeating the environment. The way you instructed us with such patience, inspired us every step of the way, making our "work" feel like a creative artistic endeavor. The time just flew by and 2 hours later, we saw our 300 completed, beautifully packaged, gourmet meals. They were truly "works of art" filled with love, love and more love. Please G-d, these packages nourish the bodies and souls of all who receive them!
