Parents, coaches, leaders of the community. Lend me your time to write about the magnificent Statham Academy Basketball Program. I have had the honor of watching this program develop into the player based and exceptional power house that it is now. The coaches are determined athletes who motivate the children to dig deep inside themselves and be their best version. Teamwork, accountability, and positive reinforcement are only but a few of the many principles that are implemented to introduce and increase our children into the wonderful game of Basketball. Being a veteran I am honored to the gratitude and appreciation I have personally received from the Staff and owner of Sthatham Academy.I have seen my children grow both athletically and socially as a direct result of their enrollment into the program. I have seen other children grow to accomplish wonderful things in their lives due to the support and commitment of their teams and participation. I cannot give this program the adequate recognition it deserves but all I can say is bring your children into practice. Witness the exchange of smiles and greetings of the fellow players and coaches, you will be amazed. Thank you Taylor for taking an interest in all of the players and their success. Your have created a community of parents and players United under love and support.

Statham Academy is the real deal for training and development. Took a leap of faith signing my nephews up for basketball in a city that was new to us. But here we are 18 months later with a couple MVP awards and championships. The growth of the boys has been an awesome journey. All the coaches have been very professional and a pleasure to watch and learn from, but my personal favorite is coach Chris. The dedication and attention to detail I have seen from him, is very impressive for a young coach. Thank you all that are involved but especially Taylor for running a legit and competitive academy ! My only complaint would be the referees very questionable calls - but thats not on the academy and, when are refs ever really good

This isnt a paid or sponsored review. Im really there every sunday for multiple games and my kid doesnt even play basketball yet. As real as it gets

Coach Taylor at Statham Academy is elite athlete. Not only he offer a professional basketball skills with his passion for players but also mind training is truly remarkable. If you or your kids loves basketball, I highly recommend Coach Taylor. He gives excellent knowledge and the best basketball player in town! You will definitely see your improvement. I am so grateful he is my son's coach. This is a treasure and his professionalism is incredible! Not enough to give him ONLY 5 stars!!!

We recently attended a tournament on the dates of July 27-28 of 2024 in Santa Clarita Ca. The main coach of this organization Tylor was on the score board and robbed our team with 6 points and giving it to his team. The team we were playing was his of course. At the end is team won due to stealing of points. 38-42 do the math!!! -6 to them +6 to us. I do understand that You win some & you lose some is a game. In my opinion this academy is TRASH. Please keep an eye out when you play here. You shouldn’t need to be looking at the board to see if they are gonna steal points you should be enjoying your kids game. What do you expect your children to learn if they join this academy how to cheat to win. I recommend you Teach kids how to work hard and win the right way. I think He did this so we wouldn’t go to the finals wow that’s great sportsmanship. Oh I forgot to mention this we played a day before same team and we won by a lot. The other team played good no doubt is not the kids fault.
(I confronted him after the game and told him what he did and acted all “smart” about it he said he fixed it, thats a lie. Hopefully you see this you are a piece of trash you shouldn’t be doing this you cheater!!!) hopefully more people come out and support!!!!
We need to stop him from stealing from our kids their happiness of winning if they deserve it.
I also need to add this, after we came back for a second game that same day he approached me right away saying to take this review down that I was gonna hurt his business and so on. I felt intimidated and threatened when he approached
me Would not leave me alone until he had my kids coach pretty much tell me to remove it. I told him make it right you know what you did and of course he was never going to admit that he cheated. He said to show proof and of course I don’t have any proof I wasn’t going to be recording the scoreboard for 1hr. I was enjoying my kids game. What I do have is a few parents that saw the same thing I did. Hopefully they all leave a bad review regarding this really bad experience in this “basketball” league.

We are so happy we found Statham Academy, our son absolutely loves it and he's constantly pushed to do and be better. On top of learning the game he also gets coaches/mentors that both encourage him and teach him to be a strong young man, and the importance of teamwork.
