After being sold to Elmwood in May 2024 the independent complex is horrible now! What use to be a beautiful, active complex now offers reduced food budget for residents meals, reduced apartment cleaning service, very few activities and those are often cancelled, no shuttle drivers, understaffed as many employees were let go or quit when new owners took over and only about 60% occupancy in the apartments. Horrible place to live at the moment, they need to turn it around quickly!

As I searched for an assisted living community that could accommodate my sibling's needs, and in a location with easy highway access, I was directed to this little gem of a community. Under new management, this community is lovely, and has amazing potential, covering Independent, Assisted and Skilled nursing, all in one campus. I immediately fell in love with with the Marketing and Sales Director, Diana, whose smile lights up a room. She introduced me to Thelma, the Assisted Living Health and Wellness Director, and I felt at home for my sister! These ladies have been nothing but loving and helpful in our journey. Diana is quick to return my calls, and always has a hug for me or my sister. I have toured a handful of assisted living communities in this process, and by far, their suites are one of the larger ones I've seen. On move-in day, I ran into some delays getting my sister's belongings to the community. My sister had a pre-arranged ride, and arrived well over an hour before I could get there.I gave Diana heads up, and when I arrived, Diana had greeted my sis and she and Thelma kept her with them, while I unloaded.
My sister has been a resident for 2 weeks now. The care givers/CNAs/nurses have been nothing but kind and helpful, Any issues we have or questions needing answers have been quickly addressed by Diana or Thelma. The other residents are kind and welcoming.
I look forward to watching this community blossom under the new management, and for our journey as my sister settles into her new home.

My brother is here. he has been here 3 months and the staff treat him so special. They are very friendly to me when I come to visit my brother, I have gotten to know almost all the residence and I have a great relationship with the Staff. This place is clean. I enjoy coming here to visit my brother, and I am going to miss everyone when my brother gets to go home someday.

Be careful working with this community if you are a vendor. I have 4 months of past due invoices which are 6 months late. I have been trying to get in touch with the activities Director, business director, the Accounts Payable person, but none are responsive/are ignoring my requests for payment.

My father was here for 3 weeks recently. The care was above my expectations. Everyone treated him like he was their family
He went to activities, ate meals in the dining room
With others, and did group therapy. We were allowed to visit anytime that was convenient for us and we were also treated very well.
We were informed of his appointments and all his care. It is my job
He left with the equipment he needed for safety and ppl coming into our home to continue his healing.
May not be the prettiest place but wow the staff makes up for it in every way possible!!! I can’t thank them enough

Elmwood Senior Living is a beautiful facility, they have amazing staff and provide awesome care. Diana, the sales director, provided great tour and was able to answer all my questions. It’s a great place to live and the food is delicious.
