I am super happy with my decision on reaching out to Ridgeside K9 for help. I have a 2.5 year old fear reactive German Shepherd. For about a year I tried to work with her on my own by watching different trainers on YouTube and I just could not get her past her fear reactivity. I was concerned it would turn into full on aggression. After doing a lot of research on behavior modification trainers I reached out to Ridgeside K9 for help. We were then paired up with David Gumm to be our trainer and from day one he has shown his true passion for dog training. In just 4 private lessons we have already seen so much improvement in her behavior. He has helped so much in teaching me how to work with her and help build our confidence together. He is always available for me to reach out with any questions or concerns I have. I cannot thank him enough for all the time and knowledge he has given me to be able to help my girl through her fear reactivity. I will forever recommend Ridgeside K9 to anyone looking for a dog trainer especially for dogs with behavioral issues.

Where can I start? We decided to go with a 5 week board and train for our 1 year old panda shepherd, we got matched with David and couldn’t be happier, the tools we were taught will last a lifetime, but David and the team have been so amazing to work with. David was so hands-on meeting us whenever we were available to have one on one training, Teaching us as well as the dog. Day or night if we have a question or concern, he’s always there. He also was very hands on teaching our 5 year old how to handle her dog! He was so supportive of that!! We will continue to support this business and go to them for any of our training And boarding needs. I really couldn’t have had A better trainer. Thank you for changing Atlas’s life and ours!

I'm so glad I went with Ridgeside K9 Ashtubula for my puppy training needs. They took on my two Australian Heeler pups. They would not be where they are with out Travis. He's the best!! He is so full of information and willing to share it all with me. He makes things easy to understand without making you feel stupid. He really cares about the pups and you. I recommend him to everyone wanting to have great quality training.

We had an amazing experience with David as our dog trainer. Our dog Quinn came back noticeably less anxious and reactive, with big improvements in obedience and leash manners.

David treated Quinn like his own, which gave us so much peace of mind. He kept us in the loop the whole time with regular updates, photos, and videos. The quality of training and level of care were truly outstanding.

We sent our dog, Gilbert, for 3 weeks of training after adopting him from the local pound. We were unsure of his history and wanted to be able to take him places and hopefully on vacation in the future.

We had Kayla as our trainer and she worked her magic with him! Gilbert went from racing out of the crate, pulling on the leash and thinking the leash is a toy to being respectful, coming out of his crate quietly and he is an absolute dream to take on walks!

Highly recommend and this is worth the investment not only in your dog but yourself.

Trainers at this facility are the BEST around, They care for your dog, as if they were their very own! My 1 1/2 year old Golden Doodle was a good dog, but after the 5 week boarding training, he is now an amazing dog! I had a family member fall ill and is in the UN Hospital in Beachwood. We were able to bring our dog with us for three straight days (even in the Step Down/ICU unit after surgery), due to his advanced training with American K9 Dynamics. This meant the world to us, as my family member is close to our dog. He was very well behaved and I could put him in a down position for a long period of time, while the nurses and Doctors came in and out of the room. I wouldn’t have been able to do that without David and Travis’s training. I would recommend this team to anyone. David and Travis and the entire American K9 team, we THANK YOU for all that you do and did for our boy Tucker! I think he misses you guys! 💙🐾
