I haven't been to Willard Bay for many years because the mosquitos were so bad. I don't know if they'd be out when it cools off but there were none while we were there in the middle of the day.

We only went to the new pond at Willard Bay with my wife and toddler. There were dozens of people paddle boarding and it was perfect for someone trying to do it.

We all had a great time and we will take the 1 hour drive from Salt Lake to do it again for sure.

OMG!!! this place is totally worth going to see. The sand was clean and very well maintained. Not having boats made it easier to swim and kayak. I went paddle boarding with my wife and baby. Calm area and even on a holiday pioneer day. It wasn't packed at all of you guys want to see a video of the place check out my channel Rodriguez Hustles

Not impressed. It has zero shade on the beach except a couple small canvas covered picnic tables. No greenery. The water is green, full of algae, and murky and it's $17/person (10 and up) to go on the water park. The sand is soft for about a foot and then turns to small stones. You can stay near the beach and not hit the big rocks on the bottom....but not by much. We made a sandcastle at least. The pond is definitely a pond. There's nothing to see if you kayak or swim here either so... Just super underwhelming. Never coming back. But it's well kept as of now so I'm giving it the three stars.

Fun area to swim, float, paddle board or kayak. Be prepared to bring your own shade as there are picnic areas but only a few. Nice bathrooms and showers to rinse off the sand.

Really appreciated that we could take our dogs to swim, they were allowed as long as on leash. It was fun to swim and had tables to put stuff on which was also nice.

Come to play at the water park. Called before to make sure there are no reservations. When we get there it’s all booked for the day and we can’t do it.
