Simply needs more funding and more attention.
It's a great and much needed practice.
Which seems to be neglected by the county. And if they are to disagree (the county), then they need to double check there effectiveness, and impact, they're having, because they have very low standards. They need to involve themselves more, quite like The volunteers and workers for NAMI do. The county, or Dubuque, and every other place that has NAMI, couldn't possibly understand real conditions of the side effects, and impact, the economy, government, county, or any funded recourses extreme lack of ( knowing anything at all) what NAMI's practices are about and do and even stands for. Simply put, the people overseeing the funding or resources, supportive resources like NAMI, does and deals with. from my personal experience
They Have no experience themselves, and I would challenge any of them that would say, otherwise, because it's not just Dubuque, it's all over everywhere.
The Effectiveness, and how badly supportive practices like NAMI are needed. unless they experience it themselves.
On a realistic level, not their idea, or what they think they know, cause they don't know S*** about poverty, homelessness and rehabilitation for inmates, and the incarcerated is needed. It is a very
Important necessity everywhere!

As far as Resources and participants. The system in general, is so outdated, and it's sad that It is even still in practice in itself. It's sickening to know how much it lacks. it should be away to help treat destructive or bad behaviors and rehabilitate those needing Better a path to walk. So they have a better know how, when it comes to lifestyles and surviving. People only have tools. That come from what they know.
In their minds, that's all the tools they have, so they need to be given what they lacked growing up, which are those extra tools resources, know how's and support assistance
So that they can make the better choice. And know the difference between right and wrong. And so They know that their way is not the only way
And that their way, it may be destructive and cause harm 2 themselves or others. So that they can
B constructive productive positive participants in society and help our communities grow in a much more productive and constructive.
Manner. Also a lot of the conditioning, my behavior in nohow, in their lifestyles, it's a huge side effect of the system, and it's lack of extremely outdated system. Not only works for those who financially benefit from it, which are obviously not the ones that are Negatively affected by it.

A little perturb Facebook is the main source for information, not everyone has facebook and makes the process difficult. Tried to get involved, communication is extremely difficult.
