To be honest my experience here was not a good one, most of the staff here are show a lot of disrespect for no reason at all and most of the things they teach you here are way too simple and easy to be learning in high school.

I recently transferred back to my home school and I noticed how far ahead my classmates were ahead from me. The stuff that the teachers teach is so outdated to what you should be learning. The building itself looks like it hasn’t gotten fixed in decades and half the staff don’t even care about their job and are just there for the money. I’m so glad I transferred out of there. Parents if your child tells you their having a hard time there, I suggest you pull them out

Glen Oaks understands the needs of students with mental disabilities that might prevent them from accessing their education in a traditional way. They provide support and education in a setting that is suitable to the student. All our interactions with the staff and administration have been positive.

I can't believe I wasted any portion of my life attending this so-called "school." If there's a place where curiosity, enthusiasm, and passion for learning go to wither and die, it's definitely here. From the moment I walked through those grimy, neglected doors, I knew I was in for a miserable academic experience.

Let's start with the teachers, or rather, the so-called "educators." It's as if they've taken an oath to drain every ounce of excitement from their subjects. Monotone lectures, outdated teaching methods, and a complete lack of engagement are their trademarks. Trying to extract any form of meaningful knowledge from their classes feels like trying to draw water from a dry well.

And don't even get me started on the curriculum. Whoever designed it must have been stuck in a time warp from the last century. The information is stale, irrelevant, and fails to prepare students for the real world. It's almost as if they want to churn out a generation of individuals who are completely ill-equipped to handle the challenges of today's rapidly evolving society.

But the issues don't stop at academics. The infrastructure is a joke. Broken windows, peeling paint, and decrepit facilities are the norm. It's clear that the administration couldn't care less about creating a conducive environment for learning. Oh, and let's not forget the glorious bureaucracy that seems to be their top priority. Trying to navigate the labyrinthine administrative processes is an exercise in futility, leading to frustration and wasted time.

Extracurricular activities? Well, good luck finding any that are worth your time. The few clubs they offer are underfunded and barely functional. It's as if the school begrudgingly tosses them in as an afterthought, just to maintain the illusion of a well-rounded education.

In conclusion, this school is an absolute disgrace. It's a place where dreams go to die and mediocrity is celebrated. If you have any aspirations of a meaningful education or personal growth, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this educational abyss. There are countless better options out there that won't rob you of your time, energy, and passion for learning.

I do not recommend going to this place, from the minute I walked in these neglectful doors, I realized the school teachers are just pathetic and only care about the money here. 1. One of the counselors kept asking me if I was on my period because I was angry. Outright disgusting to ask a child. 2. The second thing a counselor asked me was why are you a transgender? Like first of all, stop violating my boundaries and asking that inappropriate question. And we do not call people ‘transgenders’ like girl stop.

its okay. very small building, a few disrespectful staff members, basically zero extracurricular activities, worthless counseling, etc.

if you're like me, and just trying to wake up everyday and get through school, this place is worth a shot. sometimes, okay is all you need.

Being at this school was by far the worst experience my child has had in his lifetime. He was horribly mistreated by a teacher, and the administration did nothing to stop it. We ended up pulling my son out of school, with the support of our home school district. I would never send a child here!

I honestly wish I could give this “hospital” 0 stars. The lack of communication and care here is ridiculous. This place should be shutdown before they do more harm to patients. Zero interventions, zero compassion. Disrespectful staff and physicians Transfer your loved ones elsewhere.
