Wow! A real church family that expresses the love of God. We visited this past Sunday and were impressed by the cool surf board direction signs from the parking lot to the welcome center. A very nice lady gave us all leis and welcomed us to the church. All the walls of the church open up so you feel the breeze and hear the sounds of the birds. Really cool church. the music was worship and the pastor shared a message from the Bible. We were asked to read along in our Bibles, that was cool. the people seemed very friendly and welcoming. We will be back

We went to the Sunday service today at Lahaina Baptist Church. We are visiting from Texas and are members of the United Methodist Church. Everyone was very friendly and several people went out of their way to greet us and make us feel welcome. The service itself was more casual /contemporary with a vocalist playing the guitar and a violinist. The music was a blend of traditional hymns in a contemporary style. There was a short video of the youth ministry that was pretty amusing. The pastor's sermon was quite extraordinary; a solid message that was passionately delivered, well organized, and biblically supported. I had read the previous reviews of the Pastor's sermons and wasn't disappointed. I highly recommend the Lahaina Baptist Church to anyone who is looking for a God loving Church experience that is based on the Bible.

took my family to visit Lahaina Baptist on the recommendation of a friend. We drove thirty minutes, which is to say...we came with big expectations. It was so nice to see the pastor and his wife standing outside the church talking to people. The pastor greeted my family and took us to sign our keiki into their classrooms. I didn't know until someone mentioned that he was the pastor, he introduced himself with his name only. That was great! The service was so refreshing. The pastor read from the Bible and talked about the verses that were read. Understand, it's been a few years since we've experienced a pastor teaching the Bible, from the Bible. we will be making the drive more frequently. you might consider planting a church in Kihei.

Visited for Easter. Eisegetical preaching with little to no emphasis on repentance.

The gospel was devoid of it's thrust because the only "bad news" that we heard about was that we have "stones" in our life that we need to overcome.

The choir also wasn't enjoyable. I'm all about the people of God singing as passionately as they can, but if you're leading the congregation in worship, it's important to be in key. Not to mention the audio balance.

There was no heresy preached which was good, and for that reason, I'll give my brothers and sisters a few stars.
