Cocoon has been a reliable place for my family and me to spend long hours whenever they’re open. We had about a month in NYC before an extended trip abroad and needed a flexible option. Cocoon offered that. We were unsure at first. It’s a semi-public space, and you can’t control every corner. Price felt initially a bit high but later we found it was priced right. It turned out much better than expected. My wife, child, and I were able to spend full days there without feeling overwhelmed or out of place. We had a safe spot to feed our child, and the space overall felt welcoming.

The staff has been helpful, and their events were fun to attend with our 11-month-old. Since it’s a shared space, you’ll want to wipe things down before & after use, especially high chairs and toys. While Cocoon makes an effort to keep the space clean, it’s not always easy. Some toys are made of materials that need to be laundered, not just wiped down. That’s just the reality of shared spaces. But if you’re looking for a clean, open environment where your kid can crawl and play, Cocoon does a great job. I’m glad this space exists!

After doing research on different spaces to send our kids for classes and camps, we were thoroughly impressed by Cocoon. The educators here are exceptional, and the variety of classes offered is truly remarkable. They have made parenting extremely fun with their unique classes - art, music, science and sports! No more schlepping between different venues – everything we need is right here.

Our nanny uses Cocoon every day, and they practically spend the whole day there. It’s such a relief to know that my kids are in a safe and clean environment that they genuinely enjoy. The space itself is massive and unique, with different areas for all kinds of activities. The membership fees are on the higher end, but we see a lot of value because of how much we use Cocoon. The full calendar of member events keeps us constantly entertained and engaged. Cocoon has become an essential part of our routine, and we couldn’t be happier with it. Highly recommended for any family looking for a comprehensive, safe, and enjoyable space for their kids.

I've been a Cocoon member for several years now and this is an extension of my home. Friendly staff, great owners who care about their mission of a value-added shared space and a place I can definitely count on to keep my kids entertained and burn energy, especially when the weather isn't ideal. As an added bonus, the educational programming is excellent from pre-school prep to music and early reading classes. We've also made great friends hanging here and the space is notoriously clean/beautiful and actually feels clean, something that's very hard to do in a children's space. Highly recommend this as a place for young families who live downtown!

We have celebrated my daughter's birthday for the last three years at Cocoon. They are extremely professional, respectful, and more than anything they genuinely care about the kids and families in their circle. Big shout out to Crystal, who has planned all of my Daughter's parties and has outdone herself each time. They make the process seamless for parents and throw the most fun parties for the kids. I cannot recommend them enough!

We have hosted two birthday parties at Cocoon—one for my son’s 2nd birthday and one for my daughter’s 3rd. Crystal and her team go above and beyond to make kids' birthday celebrations truly special. They are flexible and work hard to bring even the most fun and complicated ideas to life. The venue itself is an amazing place for a birthday party, with plenty of space and a wide variety of activities that make planning easy for families. I’m already planning my daughter’s 4th birthday there! Thanks to Crystal and the Cocoon team for all your hard work!

Our family loves Cocoon. Our kids are so excited to run and climb anytime we head to Cocoon. As parents, we're grateful for a space where we know they're safe - it's a low stress way for the family to have fun.
